ok, im new on the site, and the whole reason that i joined is my boyfriend and i have run into some bumps in the road to happiness. So, I'm asking, if you can please help me and answer this question: Why is sex more important to him than my feelings?

I am sure you are feeling isolated in your feelings and your relationship, but I have good news for you. Most men express themselves emotionally through physical acts. This means that your boyfriend is expressing his feelings for you through sex. So to express the same feelings, women would say "I love you" and men would have sex. Its very primal, it is an instinct. Without more information I have a difficult time giving you more advice, but if you can understand the mentality of your boyfriend, you can start to decifer what he is telling you. One last thing to tell you... if your boyfriend didn't care about you or was not attracted to you, he would not be having sex with you (this is somewhat debatable).
