Palin going rogue. Isn't this rich. Losing the confidence of her staff and most on the campaign. Promising special needs parents all that money with no way to actually back it up. Looks like Ms.Palin is protecting her own ass and looking towards 2011-12. I think she's brought into all of the bullshit hype about her being a rising star and has forgotten that she is #2 on the ticket and not #1.

This is what McCain gets for creating a monster and placing importance on WINNING more than serving "the American public that he Loves and adores". She really thinks it's all about her as she drags the family along probably at our expense no doubt. She fails to see the importance of the American public being aware of the $150,000 price tag for the clothes, the hair dressers(Who she should get her money back from),and the make up artist that tags along. Hey it is important to know b/c it is a glimpse into what your service to the country will involve.

And I'm telling you now people that it's going to get very expensive with the whole family on the payroll. In 4yrs even Trig will have an official job. And is this economy can we afford to take care of this particular family and it's every whem along with McCain's large broad?
Her confidants claim Sarah is just trying to get out HER message. I wasn't aware that she should have one as McCain will be her BOSS and the MAN IN CHARGE. It is after all his campaign or is this a farce and she's really the it person?

Can we afford 4more years of the Palins? Well I guess we'll know the answer to that soon enough. But I see why their is tension in the McCain -Palin ticket. He picked a young lioness who saw the light bulbs flashing and began to buy the bullshit so she is gently trying to nudge the old lion out of the way and make it all about her. Her own people on both sides called her a DIVA and said she listens to no one. Huh. Take it from the people whose confidence she's lost. And if they all lost confidence in her please give me a good reason why we should even attempt to elect her or him to rule over us for 4yrs?

She sold the govenors jet in Alaska to save the taxpayers money......yeah.....sounds like a real problem

But Obama is going to win right?      You wan't to talk monsters.......just wait and see what comes back to eat us next.....a great big socialist dictatorship......now that is a monster!

This is just silly. The only monster in this race is Obama with his inability to
    recognize when life begins.

As for the $100,000 wardrobe, her handlers bought the clothes to spiff her
up for the campaign trail. How much do Obama's suits cost, do you even
    know? Does anyone even care?

I care about Palin's moral fiber, not the fibers she wears on her body. This
is the kind of silliness that got a clueless jerk like Obama where he is today.
This is grasping at straws silliness.

What is at issue here is the fact they spent that much on clothes for her at a time when the majority of us are scraping by from paycheck to paycheck trying to make ends meet.  I am not the least bit surprised why republicans want to blow it off, to most of them 150 grand on clothes is no big thing.  They are totally clueless as to how most of us has to struggle.  McCain doesn't even know how many homes he owns.  For me that says it all about republicans.

Are you really scraping by from paycheck to paycheck trying to make ends meet?
Maybe you need to change jobs or go back to school. There seems to be plenty
of opportunity out there to me. I know gasoline got a little high there for a while
and it came through in other products, but that has subsided now. I have been
around a while and I usually do not have that much trouble finding another pretty
good job if my old job goes away. I would say our economy is humming all things
considered. Even the stock market will be back soon enough. The car had a flat
and it just needs to be fixed. Obama wants to pull off all the wheels and install
skis. I prefer the wheels of progress, not a slide into the unknown.

Be prepared to slide Al. And as far as people living paycheck to paycheck scraping by I've seen people with so called good livings that are experiencing the same problems. The more money the bigger the toys. So paycheck to paycheck is very possible. People are needed to do all sorts of jobs not just the ones that pay the best. If there was no one to clean the streets then how would it happen? It wouldn't clean itself. But that doesn't mean they should live paycheck to paycheck or get a better education. Some people dream of broadwway lights and stars and some dream simply of being a garbage man.

I totally agree. I think this country was better off when people went to
college under their own power. There are too many in college now who
do not belong there. They should be garbage men, or mechanics, or
street cleaners. There are so many trade jobs that we are now having
to give to illegal immigrants just to have someone to do them. Obama
says everyone should get to go to college. I agree ... if they earn it,
not by the government paying for it. After Vietnam a lot of guys went
to college (including me) on the GI bill, and a lot of them should not
have been there. It was a big waste of money. I am thankful I had it,
but we at least earned it. Obama would "redistribute the wealth" and
have people in college that do not belong there, watering down the system,
supplying us with more job applicants that to not know jack. People are
happiest when they earn what they have. Go find some happy people
living on welfare. It might be an impossible task. Republicans want less
government involvement not more government handouts. Obama is just
buying votes with his empty "redistribute the wealth" promises. Going
down that road leads to a welfare state where there is eventually no
wealth to distribute. If you punish the money makers by increasing their
taxes and giving it to the people who did not earn it, those people are
either going to stop trying to make money or move their operations
somewhere else. Beware of anyone offering something for nothinng.

Less government involvement when they bailed out the banks and partially NATIONLIZED them? Thats a rich one. They own 80% of A.I.G. And this is under REPUBLICAN rule mind you. Welfare to the rich STILL COUNTS AS WELFARE!

As far as offering money to me and the thousands that "supposidly" didn't earn it. I don't see why with 3kids I should owe the government ANYTHING. I'm paying childcare expenses for God's sake and had it not been for my husbands income I would have owed the government 2grand. WTF. Some welcome to middle class!
