My mailbox is running over with printed political material, my listed phone number is ringing off the hook with pre-recorded messages that are from groups that have strange acronyms, and the TV commercial breaks are filled to the hilt with political messages that blare out of the TV at a louder volume than the TV show.  ENOUGH ALREADY!  It is overkill, and a waste of money!

 

You would think we had 20 candidates to choose from!  Don't these candidates realize that by now we are all numb to any messages they are trying to get across?  I turn those commercials off in my mind, just like I do the Alltel commericals that repeat themselves about 6 times every hour.  We should declare an end to political commercials by October 15th, and any money left in their campaign funds should be contributed to charity.
