Yesterday, I was watching the movie " American Graffitti" . OK movie - nothing great but what struck me was that although the movie pertains to the '60's era when sex, violence and hippy life was a sort of norm in real life - this particular movie did not have much of  the following:

1. No " f" words at all in the dialogues
2. No major explicit sex or nude  scenes.
3. No major violence, and gory blood scenes and any other needless violent scenes.
4. The boys and the girls were decently clothed.

What has changed now that wasn't existing then ?

American Graffiti was set in 1962.  that was a different time in america........an innocent time really when you look back at it.

Secretlife: Thanks for your comments. Was it really "innocent time" ? At that time we all thought what is the world coming to & still we all co-existed peacefully and were much happier then now. It was fun then ., wasn't it ???
