WAMMA is the World Alliance of Mixed Martial Arts, a group of people who would like to set themselves up as the overseer of the sport and tell us who the true champion is in each division. So far they have only named one champion, Fedor Emelianenko. Great. They haven't conceded the obvious fact that all the other UFC champions deserve to be called world champions in their weight divisions and that the WEC 145 pound champ is clearly deserving of the world championship too.

WAMMA brags on their website that they have the most knowledgeable MMA experts ever assembled. Then they list their panel of experts, and it includes Mauro Ranallo, that idiot. It also includes Ron Kruck. Jesus Henry Christ. The day I become as stupid as Mauro Ranallo is the day I eat my sneakers.

Their heavyweight top ten reflects their stupidity. Their number one contender to Fedor's title is Nogueira. Okay. It should be either Nogueira or Couture. Can't jump on their ass for that. But their number two contender isn't Couture.

Their number two contender is Josh Babyfaced Assassin Barnett. Okay, whatever, I'll concede that it isn't absolutely insane to rate Barnett above Couture. It's not droolingly Mongolianly stupid. All right, Barnett, fine.

Their number three contender is Arlovski the Vampire. Now I'm starting to draw a line. Arlovski lost two out of three to Tiny Tim Sylvia. Couture, if memory serves despite my advanced age of 57 or whatever the hell I am now, defeated Tiny Tim handily and in fact made a monkey of him. I see no reason to rate Arlovski above Couture.

Four is Fabricio Werdum. What? Okay, I get the point, they are ignoring Couture. They are taking the position that he has been inactive too long and therefore doesn't deserve any mention in the top ten. I don't accept that. I think Couture deserves to be right at the top somewhere.

They rate Alistair Overeem number ten below Cro Cop and Big Ben Rothwell. I don't buy that. Did Mauro Ranallo do that? Did you see how Alistair Overeem took Cro Cop apart? Anyone who saw the recent Cro Cop vs. Overeem fight can't rate Cro Cop above Overeem. You wanted to call an ambulance for Cro Cop. Overeem beat him like a rug. Overeem looked really good.

They don't have Brock Lesnar in the top ten. He's an "other", out of the top ten.

1. Randy Couture, about to drop like a stone but still deserving of respect
2. Minotauro Nogueira with the weird crease in his back on the right side
3. Brock Lesnar, who is about to beat Couture's ass, most likely, and take over the number 1 slot
4. Arlovski the silly vampire
5. Josh Babyface Barnett, damn good wrestler who got Cro Copped a few years ago
6. Frank Mir, for sticking it to Lesnar and ruining Dana White's antichrist Lesnar, the anti-Fedor
7. Fabricio Werdum for KOing Brandon Vera and Gabriel Gonzaga
8. Tiny Tim Sylvia lost badly in 3 of his last 4
