What kind of geese are they skald? Are the domestic or wild? I've never seen anything like them here.

I think we call them gray geese. They are wild but very tame. You can walk upto them. They just live in the city.

I saw some last night as we were driving to dinner.  They were taking their sweet time crossing a busy street holding up traffic.  These geese look much more considerate!

Great pictures skald, I hope you are having a great day.

Hey mobil, are you thinking what I am ? Are they as greasy as the rest ? How do they cook up ?

Uni.  Lol they just like to bite grass and the ducks do what the gees over you way do. walk over the street with the wee ones.
Cayenne.  Having a great day yes, but shame shame, cooking the poor things, :-)

We have Canada Geese and Snow Geese here skald, but no Gray Geese. Do they fly South in the Winter?

C'man Christmas goose yes, my wife's grandma always had a goose with the turkey for Thanksgiving and  Christmas.

Canada geese fly over once in a while, but we see mostly egrets and cranes here in the south.
It's nice to hear the geese honking when they fly by.

    Mobil  They stay put.
Twy.  I bet it is nice. I mostly see these fly over the street when I am driving and they are moving to an other pasture. .

Oh, geese can be very mean when they want to!  My domestic geese I had used to chase the kids and hiss at them.  LOL  (not saying that the kids didn't tease them too)

Geese can be very territorial.  In my grandfather's small ranch/farm when I was young I remember they used to hiss and actually chase you if you got too close.

    They are beautiful skald.

In the UK we have a TV programme on every Spring and Autumn called 'Spring Watch' and 'Autumn Watch', live between 7pm and 8pm.  Each year they follow a massive flock of tagged Grey Geese as they make their phenonemal journey across the globe - from Iceland and on to Canada stopping in the UK.  I have never seen them in real though but what a journey - what a touch, amazing bird!  They fly so much further than the Canadian and other geese.

We have Canadian geese.  They fly in formation, and it looks really neat.  And they honk.  Very loudly.  Nice pics, skald!

Quiet.  I remember when Systa and I went to the cities pond to give the duck bread. We were 8. There were not so many geese around then but two came and chased us, wanted the bread and we were so frighted. We ran away.
Rolling.  Bet they did. See above but this time a woman with a pink camera chased them. No, not really I did not come too close.
Pusscat. That is really interesting that they can fly so far.  I did not  know it. :-)
Mimi.  Yes, they do it here too, fly in formation. It is nice to see. Honk I bet they do but they can be quiet too.  Those were quite quiet.
