I confess, I'm a music junkie. I can hardly go a day without listening to something. Right now it's Doves, Built to Spill, Thom Yorke, Morrissey, The Delgados, Martha Wainwright, Joanna Newsom, and the Artic Monkeys.

So, what has everyone here been listening to recently? What are your overall favorite albums or artists?

I am a die hard Enigma fan. Over the years, I had listened to a many an artist, but I never grow tired of them.

I haven't heard of any of the artists/groups you mention. But then again, I am not very good with names.

I always find myself hearing a song I thought I had never heard to say, "Oh, I HAVE heard that song before!"

Well, you can't be good at everything! :)

I'm horrible at names so I know what you mean. I'll check Enigma out.

In 1971, when I was 11 years old, I got my first record player for Christmas.

It was a BIG deal that record player.
It could play both 78 and 45 format records (for the 45's you needed to add a little doo-hickey).
