This is Adda by a poster of Mamma Mia in Berlin  but as the film was in German we did not go in. She does not speak German and I like to see films in the original language.
berlin 2008 278

It’s years since I’ve been to the movies. Some years ago I used to go with Adda. I did it for her but it was good for me too. I often wanted more to sit at  home and knit but as Adda needed the company I went with her.

Sometimes we took mum but because of her sickness she was uneasy and I stopped taking her. I did other things for her instead.

Well today Pálmi was repairing our friends car. He did it also last weekend but it needed more attention. He took Thor with him both times and asked me if I would take Freyja to see Mamma mia.

It seems like I was to see this film as Adda brought me the DVD yesterday. A copy that she had got on the net. But as Freyja wanted to see the subtitle we went to the movie house.

What a good time we had and how glad I am that I went. This film has been shown for a long time but the room where it was shown in  which is number 5 but not a very small one, was full.  There were very small children there too but one never heard them at all.

It was soo good just to forget what is going on in the society here and just enjoy and have fun.

And how strange when the show was over no one moved. In the old days people would jump out of the seats as soon as the names appeared on the screen after the film.

Taking about the old days, we had one room then for the shows and we all put on our best cloths. We were there to show us and to see others.

Wow skald if that's you're Adda in the picture you better be careful . . .she's a beautiful woman capable of breaking alot of hearts. :0) Just kidding but she is beautiful. skald I don't go to to many movies . . . I find it safer that way but when I do go I always enjoy it. I'm surprised the small children were so quiet they can be a nuisance at times especially in a crowded movie theater. I'm glad you were having a good time skald that's how life is supposed to be lived. I like the music I'm going to take in the movie too. Take care skald we'll see you later.

Skald~ I had to drag my husband with me to see Mamma Mia because he doesn't like "chic flicks", he doesn't like musicals, and he hates ABBA.
Halfway through the movie he was singing along with everyone else in the theater!
We had the best time singing and dancing and laughing with the people sitting around us. And when the movie ended everyone applauded, something I haven't seen at the movies since I was a little girl.

I loved the movie. Great cheerful music and so much energy. If Meryl could really dance up all those stairs at her age, I think I may hate her!! It was fun and we need that Skald.

I shoulda been a chic cause I'd just as soon see a chic flick as anything else haha.

I'd make a sad looking female though and I don't know what abba is?

Skald.....wasn't that a fun show?  I saw it in London when I visited my sister who was living there a couple of years ago.  Everyone was singing along through the entire play.  Glad you had fun.....and Adda is beautiful!

Secret.  No, I was never a special Abba fan but I heard their music just like anybody else at that time and it was nice. Yes and escape is good now and then.
Cayenne.  Yes, Adda is a beautiful woman. She is not my daughter but many people think so. She is however the mother of Freyja and Thor and my x daughter in law. And of course she is my Adda as I take her as my child. I had not even given the children a thought after all it was a 3 o'clock feature but Freyja noticed them and said that she thought the little children would not understand the film. I told her if they enjoy the music it was O.K.
Twy.  Sometimes it is good to drag the husbands out and he really enjoyd this, just like you. What a lovely experience and people clapping. That I have never seen but that sounds so nice. There were also features here where people were supposed to sing along with the movie and I've heard that it is much fun.
Woman.  I do like Meryl a lot and I can't remember having seen her in a bad movie. Yes, sure I could not run up those stairs. We sure need fun.
Mobil.  You are my kind of a guy and why not go to a chic flik it does not make you any less manly. lol
    Link1. Thanks
Queenie.  Thanks you are such a wonderful girl.
Jenna.  Yes, it was fun and I´m going to look at the DVD later on. What fun seeing it in London. Thanks for the remark about Adda.
