This is Adda by a poster of Mamma Mia in Berlin but as the film was in German we did not go in. She does not speak German and I like to see films in the original language.
It’s years since I’ve been to the movies. Some years ago I used to go with Adda. I did it for her but it was good for me too. I often wanted more to sit at home and knit but as Adda needed the company I went with her.
Sometimes we took mum but because of her sickness she was uneasy and I stopped taking her. I did other things for her instead.
Well today Pálmi was repairing our friends car. He did it also last weekend but it needed more attention. He took Thor with him both times and asked me if I would take Freyja to see Mamma mia.
It seems like I was to see this film as Adda brought me the DVD yesterday. A copy that she had got on the net. But as Freyja wanted to see the subtitle we went to the movie house.
What a good time we had and how glad I am that I went. This film has been shown for a long time but the room where it was shown in which is number 5 but not a very small one, was full. There were very small children there too but one never heard them at all.
It was soo good just to forget what is going on in the society here and just enjoy and have fun.
And how strange when the show was over no one moved. In the old days people would jump out of the seats as soon as the names appeared on the screen after the film.
Taking about the old days, we had one room then for the shows and we all put on our best cloths. We were there to show us and to see others.
