i admit i'm one of the people who sometimes used the word, "youre so gay" never realizing that it can actually hurt someone else's feelings... i truly from the bottom of my heart, apologize for this. i feel like an ass now that i know. i have lots of gays and lesbians friends. one time i told a gay friend, "that's so gay". although harmless for me i never realize that impact it has on him. (by the way i'm contacting him later to apoligize).

so i'm not just posting this to educate everybody in soulcast but for myself as well...

so people of soulcast... think before you speak...

when you say, "that's so gay."

do you realize what you say?

knock it off...

    I don't think it's a big deal Queenie, gay had a completely different meaning before it was used to mean what it means today.
     
    Like you said, you didn't say it to be hurtful and if that person is your friend, they will know that don't you think?

    mobil: nowadays kids use this term differently and in more hurtful term to homosexuals. it sucks cuz the society judged them by their sexuality and not as a whole person... but thank you for commenting. i appreciate it... people here are not that responsive about this...
