I am reading the Introduction to Ken Lawrence's book:John Lennon: In His Own Words": and, as per usual: the "John" imagination factor is surging....

Introduction page one:

John says,
"When one considers the agenda (just use the imagination here, folks:) of "the world leaders". Now, I am not talking about..you know: the "world leaders" as in: the Visible... every Joe on the street knows his name.. his picture is on the t.v. ... you know- leaders. I am talking about the "he is invisible / does not exist/... we will kill you if you mention his name or existence" kinds of leaders... the guys who Control the stock markets... and who pulll the strings... of the politicians...
So, when one Imagines themself the Actual.. you know.. leader of the world... king of all creation and more importantly king of business.. on the world wide scale.. (and I really have no clue who this actually is..) -but we are just imagining here- like we were writin the sequal to Star Trek or something of that nature.... you know: REAL FICTION...
it has been stated elsewhere (sorry - I did not write down the link) but we came accross it in a travel.. one of the John Lennon articles on one of the John Lennon sites... or links to it- - who knows where one goes when following links...
that there was an agenda to seek to control the masses of the 1960's (let's face it: there would HAVE to be! that was our middle name: "Uncontrolable" you know...) and, what better way to control an "out-of=control" generation, than to drop them into the bins.. so to speak... of various addictions? you know...
alcohol ; drugs (heroine is a very powerful one); and for the more socially conscientious ones: you have religions (take your pick); and for the conscientious and yet agnostic or atheistics: yahoo groups/ .... and for those who could give a damn either way: t.v. sitcoms / sports / beer (I guess that one falls under alcohol) or documentaries suffice: anything to keep the masses subdivided: and Divided is the key here: as in "divide and conquer"
alcohol worked to subjegate and destroy the native american culture(s)... and small pox was added as a bonus....
marijuana, cocaine, acid, heroin: and all there generational evolutionary descendants have done a wonderful job on "the generation" and the subsequent ones as well.... and we have hiv and aids to help that along.
(and leave us not forget the Cancers: the natural, byproducts of the polutions and chemicals produced by our mechanizaions...)
meanwhile, anything that would challenge the imperical authority of the religions continues to be bombblasted...and what is really being accomplished here, is the destruction ; the inihilation of family. Family is a biolgical structure of biological (not - "Bio-illogical") beings... and we are living in a world of mechanization: yes, like the matrix idea... perhaps/ and who knows?!! really..
but the point being: biological connection to the living earth is under so much attack:
You remember that John quoted someone in saying that,
"Everything is the opposite of what it seems." ?
What if: John was killed because he was seeking to find his way out of the drugs and alcohol, and religious and t.v. controls: to find his own way (and obviously: everyone in this problamatic generation would follow him...) back to: family. and biological (i.e. agricultural, self-sustainable-... that old 'peace and love') life. Living with mechanization to help: but not Control and Destroy life.
The sane voice that says, "Why the hell are we NOT!? developing new technologies to produce energy, which won't pollute and destroy the earth?!?".
"Why the hell are we not creating cities, and life that people can live, and not NEED: drugs, alcohol, t.v. sitcoms, uncontrolled sex,and war-engaging religious beliefs or persuasions- to continue to function.?"
Which then is to say, John Lennon was killed because he kissed his wife, and played with his child: and then made that public.
The point was to Shock and Scare: Everyone: into... keep going to
your day job; keep reading newspapers, magazines, and watching
the t.v.... taking drugs, using alcohol, indulging in pornography;
going to church: and above all: make sure you hold onto a rigid,
self-promoting, "everyone around me must do as I do, and think
as I think (or GO TO HELL)" attitude".... which you will fight to
kill and die for.
The old, "Join me or die" syndrome. Catholicism, Romanism, Egyptionism, ... the way of man. And guess who will prevail?
When men succeed in destroying themselves it will be the woman who survives: with a male baby in her arms. And then it can all start over again. LIke Einstein said, "World War IV will be fought with stone axes and spears."
