I just got back from the big bad doctor.  He's the one who is responsible for me having to get stuck five times, in the search for arterial blood.

He came into the room with a big smile on his face, and said, "Did you get someone else to give blood in your place?"  Uh, no.  Why?

My blood oxygenation levels are normal!  For the first time in a very long time.  The put that little doohickey on my finger, the one that tells you what percent your oxygen level is right at that moment, and it was 100%!

This is excellent news.  I'm normal!

So, how are you today?

Great news, Meems!!  I am thrilled for you :-))

I am good, but I have the munchies! :-(  I am desperately fighting the temptation to eat everything in sight.  I am filling up on fat free yoghurt at the moment.

Thank you, queenie!  I'll go read your blog.

pcakes, I know the feeling.  It's a constant struggle, isn't it?  That yogurt just doesn't cut it, when what you really want is cookies.  Keep it up, and I'll try to do the same.  Thanks, polarbunny.

mimi- That's great news. I wonder if I'm normal - in anything. I doubt it.

That would be ok if it was exciting.
  • MissMimi said on Oct 10, 2008....
well, beyond, 'normal' isn't a state I usually aspire to, but in this case, I'll take it.  It wouldn't be so bad to be abnormal if it was in the right way.  I like viewing the world from my skewed vantage point.  :)
