Hey everyone so im finally gonna tell all.
So nearly a fortnight ago i started uni, and im having an amazing time, i dont really know how to structure this so ill put them all under handy headings, this is basically just a catch up!
The Flat mates
hmmmm what to say about my flatmates? well they are all really nice, there are 6 of us in our flat and 6 flats in our block. 3 guys 3 girls. Now i dont want to sound horrible, and i by no means dislike my flat mates in the slightest but this is probably something ive struggled with. I get on really well with the 3 guys, mainly because you dont have to share and you can talk about nothingness and enjoy conversation on a simple level- this means you dont have to have much in common with them, so it doesnt matter that Z is into skateboarding, that T loves all things geeky and gaming or that C despite been very camp is tbh a bit of a drunken laut. However the other 2 girls in my flat- well this isnt so easy. Just to look at you can tell i have nothing in common with them. R is a bit of a wannabe rebel with an obsession with jack daniels (yes i mean the drink) and F well what to say about F?
F seems really nice, however she makes things a little socially awkward, to look at you would think she was a timid girl who loves her books but there is another side to her. She seems a little obsessed with sex. For fancy dress she went as a "kinky" copper and when playing truth or dare all she wants to do is kiss the other girls. \now believe me if you saw F you would be shocked by this thought. The other thing to say about F is that she seems to have some sort of issue with lying. The other day myslef and Z truly scrubbed the kitchen and i mean we cleaned everything, T walks in says god its clean in here and F pipes in "yeah ive just done it all" exactly like that. i was dumbfounded. She also had the cheek to tell me to dry up the single plate i'd left on the draining board while i was down on my hands and knees cleaning the kitchen floor after the mess she had made while having a "kinky" party the night before!!!
Other than my flat mates my best friend here at the moment is A from a downstairs flat, A is also a guy so i could really do with a girly influence around eventually. There are only so many times i can hear "that girls well fit" blah blah blah!
Freshers Week
Safe to say i partied hard! Fancy dress, casino nights, bar crawls, freshers fair it was a busy week! Very action packed and im glad things have settled down a bit because by friday i had lost my voice completely!
Just my luck
So first fortnight here and being the calamity that i am i managed to block my bank card and my computer died on me. It would let me loghin but would then just welcome me for hours on end. A problem witch decided to miraculously fix itself during the 45 minutes i spent on a premium rate phone numbetr reporting the problem to Dell. I also managed to acquire a limp- now im not sure if this counts as 3 bad things so im keeping my eyes open just incase!
My course
oh my god do i love my theatre course it feels so great to be acting again, id forgotton just how alive it made me feel! oh and english lit seems good aswell but thats been mainly introductions.
So there you have the run down of my uni life so far, i may make a few more posts later on with more prescise evnt descriptions and i have some none uni news aswell that i may nneed to express a bit later, but i thought id better give a convienient guide to uniphie!
Hope everyone is well hoping to catch up with everyone's lives and blogs this evening but now i really must get a shower i have lectures in an hour!
