(The truths that popped out at me from this article/U.S. citizens from coast to coast expressed opposition to the plan, and swamped lawmakers with phone calls./Congress, nervous about the economy and cowed by swarms of lobbyists from the nation's banks businesses and financial institutions, ignored their constituents and passed the plan./ (This tells me we the citizens no longer have a voice in Congress. It's time to clean house. We need to add a third party and eliminate the Republicans and Democrats that rule for "big money", and we can start with Ron Paul (CampaignForLiberty.com)
(Based on the information in #1 above and the fact the doctors and citizens want a "single pay" plan do you believe Congress will give it to us? Idoubt it lets just vote these career politicians out of office.

A couple of truths from this article/They view government as nothing more than a proud sponsor of the military-industrial complex while ignoring the threat to homeland security from corporate pirates/I am not a conventionally religious man, or even a very superstitious one, but I do wish George Bush would stop asking God to bless America. Every time he does, we seem to be visited with another plague/ (As you know if you read me I am a believer, and I believe Bush is a major hypocrite and God does not like hypocrites. It's one thing to disagree with God, but it's entirely different when your leader thumbs his nose at God, because God does allow punishment at times to correct us. We have been warned about the threat of the military- industrial complex, but ignored the warning. I believe the only hope for America is to regain God's favor, and reduce or eliminate the military- industrial complex which we can begin to do by voting in a third party, and getting rid of the politicians responsible for putting America on the wrong course.
(I list this article because I believe the Israeli Palestine issue is the key to peace in the middle east, but I admit to be at a lost as to how to resolve the problem, maybe it's similar to our solution they just need to bring in new people.)
(Just more info on the real McCain. I have often said in my military training we were taught if you get captured it probably means you have disobeyed an order and are some place you aren't supposed to be doing something you shouldn't be doing , and it does not make you a good solider.
