This is a sorry time for Republicans. They fucked up so much and it was all their fault. There's no way around it. A lot of times if you fuck up it doesn't get discovered for a while and you get away with it, but the Republicans have been proven to be a bunch of useless fuckups and the country is suffering because of it, directly because of these fuckups.

Republicans like to see themselves as these great capitalists, and the sorry truth is they go crying to mommy after they fuck everything up, and they have to get bailed out in socialist style. It's a fucking disgrace, actually. Any Republican who argues the point is a hopeless useless asshole himself. You guys got caught in your shit, and the best thing you can do is admit it. Just admit that you fucked up. Just admit that you ran to socialism to save your sorry asses from your just desserts. Just admit that it isn't capitalism you defend, it's the prerogatives of the filthy rich to do whatever the hell they want at everyone else's expense, and to get rescued by mommy and daddy when they fail.

It's really about time for the intelligent Republicans to come out and criticize their own party, call their own party out on the hypocrisy and the bamboozling and the abject failure. But it is against human nature for people to be honest about their own people. They defend the fuckups to the end because they are incapable of impartiality.

The shifty assed Republicans can only change the subject and deride Democrats. They can't defend their own bullshit. But deriding Democrats is a different subject. I do that too. Democrats suck. But that isn't what this post is about. I'm not discussing Clinton's fucking globalization in this post. I've done that elsewhere.

i'm tempted to count the number of times you used fuck, fucking, fuckups, and all the other fuck variations.

appropriate usage. those fucking assholes deserve an intense reaction. i'd fucking hang them for their treason. they just robbed me of thousands of dollars, the sons of bitches. oh btw they robbed you too. to pay for some rich bastard's fucking new jet. the aig bailout has already sent $400,000 into the pockets of some very rich people. congress is thinking about maybe looking into it and asking for the money back, please.

Wow, you are turning into bloc with all that childish use of the F word. If
you believe all this mess can be blamed on Republicans, you must not be
able to read or to hear. People like Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and Borax
Obama are more to blame for what is happening than the Republicans. Even
if it was the Republican's fault, that still does not make Obama the right man
for president. Democrats are responsible for legislation that got us here and
for the "something for nothing" socialist attitudes that got us here. Obama
will just be more of the same. Bush has been a disappointment in some ways,
but McCain is not Bush, and Obama is an inexperienced nobody, no matter
how many times you say the F word. However, you make about as much
sense as Obama. He could probably stand up and just say the F word and
make the crowds swoon since they are obviously not really listening to what
he says anyway. Plus, the Democrats have the majority in congress. They
are the ones responsible for passing this bailout. They want to cover their
tracks as soon as possible. Wake up and smell the coffee before you further
    embarrass yourself.

Alien dude, you're living in cloud cuckoo land man.  It's got nothing to do with Democrat or Republican, and everything to do with greed and fear.  Wake up and smell the truth...it's staring you in the face and yelling - "LISTEN!"
  • lfbno7 said on Oct 09, 2008....
Nope, you're kidding yourself, you're in denial, it's the Republican game of deregulation and you're one of those who, god bless you, can't see the faults of their own children. You never will either. Haven't you noticed that I am not a Democrat either? Can't you simply admit that your higherups fucked up really badly, hurting us all? That's what happened, and you're way too delusional about your idiot Republicans to admit to what they really are. Not angry at you, just into the truth, that's all. Your boys suck. They caused this mess. It would be a great step in the right direction if you admitted it. But I don't think you can. There's too much emphasis on the F word. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. So what. Anger is called for. Fuck fuck fuck. Big fuckin deal. We've been robbed, and that's a much bigger deal than a few fucks. If you're not angry you're just stupid, to quote Ani DiFranco. The Democrats are a bunch of fuckin assholes too, for their globalization and their gutlessness and their treason against the American people. I'm not just hating Republicans. I'm telling the harsh truth.

Sorry dude. From all I have gathered it all started in the Carter administration
and even Bill Clinton has ponied up to the truth. You can say the F word all
you like, but it does not change the truth. Read some of the blogs posted
lately and stop showing your ignorance if you really are not a Democrat. Only
they are not willing to face the facts that their party will do anything and
say anything to get their man elected. I saw a piece on the news earlier
tonight (FOX news, of course) where Farakan was praising Obama and
calling him the messiah, and that the children would know him, blah blah
blah. We are up against some serious shit here. It is no time to get your
facts all bent in the wrong direction. If this is not the Democrats fault,
why did they not do something in the last year, since taking back the
    majority?

I thought it was Wright who said that messiah stuff. I could be wrong.

Was it really deregulation, or was it low-income / bad credit housing policy? Could any regulator have kept up with the financial instruments that are being designed today without gumming up the works?

On the other hand, could lenders have been a bit more cautious in their lending? Could they have minimized their risks by steering low income buyers to less risky investments? Moreover, could they have increased collateral requirements for people buying second homes?

To blame this on one political party is patently simplistic. It's also quite disingenuous, as not every real estate mogul supports the Republicans, and most huge companies donate to both parties.

But hey, if you have to invent a boogeyman to justify your vote, please, go right ahead.

lfbno-You are such a complete moron that the only reason I read your posts is to use them as examples of what left-wing morons are.  This crisis has Democrat stink all over it.  Not Republicans, Democrats.  ACORN, Franklyn Raines, Bill Clinton, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Jimmy Carter, all had a major hand and all are Democrats.

I just put up a post with the Louis Farrakhan video link on it. Louie thinks Obama
is the messiah. More like the anti-Christ, if you ask me, but most likely neither.

And you are right, SMB. It only takes a little surfing the net to figure out the
truth, not what the Obama camp (and MSNBC) want us all to believe. This all
reminds me of the Democrats tricking Bush Senior into raising taxes and then
criticizing him for raising taxes (remember "read my lips, no new taxes"). Then
Rush and company came along and helped us realize that we do not have to sit
back and let the liberal media run our country.

The thing is, the buck stops somewhere. Harry Truman. You remember him. The buck stops somewhere. Unless the buck happens to stop where you don't want it to stop and it's embarrassing for you. Sorry but you have to accept the buck when it stops by you. All this other stuff is just being in denial cause your boys fucked up royally. Clinton got caught with his pants down, and Bush got caught sucking as president and causing a collapse of the economy.
