My favorite is Hot & Sour - extra hot so that you sweat as you eat it.

Campbells Golden Mushroom is great in meatloaf.

Knorr's Vegetable soup makes a good dip (serve with pumpernickel bread)

Can't say I've ever had booger soup.
    You are a goof!

i'm a huge fan of gazpacho during hot weather--that stuff is teh shiz. :>

secretlife: if you like spicy, you should look into a class of korean dishes called jjigae: they're sort of stew/soup, generally very hearty and often quite spicy. :>

hk: i'm a big fan of soup, especially when the weather starts to cool.

secret: hot & sour happens to be my favorite as well--the spicier the better for me. (but i have had some really bad hot & sour soup at various places, so i learned to make it on my own--finally)

silver: yes, manhattan-style chowder is teh sux. blech

after hot & sour, I would say the tops of my list of favorite soups is broccoli cheddar.

i love homemade vegetable beef soup and make it frequently on the fall weekends, especially if i have leftover roast that needs to be used up. thankfully, my mother grows tomatoes every summer so i have a steady supply of homemade canned tomatoes for my veggie soup.
