Ask any Chrisitian this, Does God know everything? The answer is Yes, he know the future and he knows everything. I have been pondering on this question for many years. I agree he knows everything but then there are a few questions or passages in the Bible that makes me wonder. One question that comes to my mind. Is why create Adam and Eve when God know they are going to sin. Why then in Genesis 6 Verse 5 to 8:

5 The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. 6 The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7 So the LORD said, "I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them." 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.

Have you ever regretted doing something! Yes and you wish you could start over. If God knew then when he created the human race, didn't he know that they will be wicked, if he knew the future. Nobody regrets unless they cannot see the future outcome.

So does my God know or do not knows the future? For many years I have and accepted what I have been thought that my God know everything. Why God created Adam and Even and then they were to fall to sin, why God created the human race only to destroy them in a flood and then regret over it. I have been seek this answer and from my learned theologicians, their answer is that God works in mysterious ways and we as Christians have to believe in faith.

I agree that there alot of things that cannot be comprehended by us a mere mortal and do not see with open eyes. I also do agree that we should believe in faith but I also believe that we should not accept anything blindly. I am a person of logic and I am a person who want to seek an answer. In the past few days this has dawn to me. Can a person knows all the possible outcome but do not know which outcome will be choosen and still be considered as knowing everything. I ponder on this and made reference to the Bible. Didn't God told Adam and Even that if you ate from the fruit of Knowledge, you will surely die and if you did not you will have everlasting life. God told them I made you different from animals becaouse you have the option to choose between right and wrong. God knows everything and yes he does. He knows every possible outcome that can happen if you where to make a choice but he does not know which choice you will make.

Do you get it!! God knew that if human race were to do the right thing, from Adam to Noah there waas no need to destroy the human race and if they did the wrong thing, he had to destroy them. God know all outcome and therefore he know everything, what he does not know is what choice you will make.

Now go read you Bible and you will find many example of this. Look in Matthew, when Jesus was talking to his disciples, he told them that he will die and his time is approaching. See Jesus knew his destiny and he could have made the choice and not die on the cross for us, that is why Jesus prayed in the Garden before his arrest, that this is not his will but it is God's will. Jesus made a choice. John 17 Verse 1 to 5:

1 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:
"Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2 For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4 I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.

Another example, why did Satan tempt Jesus? If Satan knew that Jesus had to die on the cross, why tempt him? It is because Jesus can make a choice and whether Jesus would have died on the cross or not God knew that there could be more then one outcome, however as Jesus is his son God knew the probability that Jesus will do the will on the father was very high.

This choice given to men, also solve another problem that I have been pondering and that was Judas betrayal to Jesus. If he did not betray Jesus then Jesus would not be arrested and would not die on the cross. Wasn't Judas a key player in this, should he be punish? Then it boild down to choice. Judas was given a choice to betray Jesus or not. God knows the outsome and he know the probability of which outcome is the highest. That is why Jesus was very upset with Judas for betraying him because he made the wrong choice. I am sure there would have been other ways Jesus would have been arrested.

Maybe you can find more examples in the Bible.

This also leads to another verse in the Bible. God mentioned that before you were born (Chrisitans and non-Chrisitans) I knew your name and I have great plans for you, my plans for you are good. God has good plans for everyone on earth. Whether that good plan pans out or not, it will depend on you whether you made the right choice at every junction of your life. Note that if your life you have to make decisions, there are some decisions that does not affect your life journey (like what I should eat for dinner etc) there are some that will affect whether you are on the right path that God has planned for you. Also note the prodigal son parable, he took the wrong path but note that he can be steer back to the correct path. So there is not such thing as I am too late to find the path that God has plan for me. As long as you have breath in you, you can still change. So God know the many outcome that can happen to you when you make your decision buit he does not know which choice you will make. I believe the closer you walk with God, the high the probability of taking the correct path. When you deviate from the path (gues who is the one that make you deviate from the path, Yes, it is satan) only a Christian with a strong foundation can bring you back to the correct path.

That is why when Jesus left the earth, his commandment was to go forth and convert all, so that everyone has a chance to make the decision when the time comes to follow the correct path.
