So, Iceiss and I are contemplating going back vegetarian.
Can I do without my turkey sandwiches? My fish? I don't know...
I do know that my body is just not meant to be vegetarian. My dancing went down, by GI tract got all fucked up (except when I was raw, my GI tract was as healthy as could be... until that stinky end... >.<)
Without meat, my body just goes puft. Puft puft puft.
However, I feel terribly guilty every time I eat it. Dairy too. I'm serious. Its so wierd, i feel insatiably guilty and wrong every time I eat meat or dairy. Well, dairy isn't so bad, but I know everything that goes on with the meat and dairy industry, and it's so WRONG!!! So creul... I just hate the fact that we have to kill animals that we would normally defend under any other circumstance, to eat it.
Seriously... and the fun part about being a veggie is that it's more of like a game to me... how can I live as a veggie? Well, I've done it. On numerous occasions. A year and a half was my longest stretch as a vegan for one time... but I've been pescetarian, macrobiotic, vegan, raw-foodist, semi-rawfoodist. As far as I can see, I would prefer to combine ALL health-toting diets together under one umbrella, and see where that takes me. Have the majority of my diet be vegetarian/vegan, and the rest? Healthy.
Dude, it's so easy, and tasty too!!
Milk = Soy Milk / Hemp Milk
Cheese = Soy Cheese / Cashew Cheese
Sour Cream = Tofutti Sour Cream / Cashew Sour Cream
Creamer = Soy Creamer / Hemp Milk
Ice Cream = Soy Ice Cream / Rice Ice Cream / Macadamia Nut Ice Cream / Coconut Sorbet
Meat = Soy "Meat" Alternatives
To me? It's like a giant game of tetris. So... I want ice cream... well, there's soy ice cream! I want angel food cake... what's a good recipe for vegan angel food cake? Seriously! The options are endless. Yes, we have cats, and in of that, we cannot feed our cats vegan food. That's just inhumane, and against what we would live for if we did that. We love our pets, just like we love ourselves and the environment.
Did you know, that being a vegan reduces your ecological footprint by 50% ?
That's A LOT of environment saved right there, pal.

Myfootprint.org is awesome.
Well, enough blabbing for now, I'm going to go wish I had a bike to hop on and drive to check out the farmer's market.
Ciao, bella!
