We have had bunches of posts on food, but have we ever talked about people who don't like food? I don't remember.

And this is something that bothers me. Why does that bother me? I don't know, but it does. It bothers me that so many people shut out almost the entire world of food.

I knew a waitress once who would only eat six (count them - six) things. I hope she took vitamins.

I worked with a guy who bought all burger type items with meat and bread only - no exception.

I worked with another guy who's diet consisted mainly of sliced turkey, bread, bacon, eggs, potatoes, coke (the only liquid he drank, even for breakfast) and hot tuna on toast was his favorite dish. Don't they call that 'shit on shingles' in the military?

My father-in-law I talk about a lot among the family, to my wife's disdain. He will eat meat (three kinds), potatoes, the cheap white bread only, one spread which is mayo and the world's best artery blocker, green beans, corn, and a few other things. Tacos are the only Mexican he'll eat so long as not too much is put on them. That's about it.

My wife went to Vegas to a seminar with several girls and one guy. With all the offerings in Vegas for food, the first time they went out to eat he asked if they could find a Denney's - he said he didn't want to be "surprised". How many times have I heard that from these people?

I've often wondered how women who like food live with husbands like this guy. Do they cook two meals for dinner? How could she live on six or eight recipes?

Now, I won't eat everything by a long shot. Beets are out, as are organs and buttermilk. Most of the things I won't eat are due mainly to texture such as boiled okra, but I love it fried. I won't like it if its really sour or bitter, or stinks.

But give me that break. What is wrong with people who will only eat about six to sixteen things? My daughter says they are severely disturbed. But she loves food. She's also the kind that could eat constantly and never gain a pound.

Do you know people who don't like food?

If you do, do you try to enhance their diet?

If you live with one, how do you handle it?

If you are one, what's wrong with you? And can I help?

Oh PLEASE tell me how NOT to like food. I try not to. I tell myself it is not my friend. I tell myself that I could live on air. And still, I love food. I have a daughter who sometimes forgets to eat and doesn't like chocolate. That's weird enough for me, but even she really likes food. Anyway, I'll be watching for the answer here!!

woman- Your daughter is weird. Just like me. When I get involved with a project I can miss dinner and not even notice, as much as I like food. With chocolate, I only like milk chocolate, the rest you can have. I like so many other flavors better than chocolate. Chocolate lovers are almost like the people who don't like food, in a way (that should get me in trouble), because they seem to only eat chocolate and miss all those scrumptious other goodies.

Do you know people who don't like food? Certain foods? yes.  I have known a whole slew of people with finnicky eating habits including my husband of the moment.

If you do, do you try to enhance their diet? I don't enjoy pain and frustration, so I do not try to enhance their diet if they are 18 and older.  It's too much work.

If you live with one, how do you handle it? I do sometimes have to do extra cooking to appease his food peculiarities.  He also has to eat out if he wants shellfish.  I try to eat my favorites (which, of course, he dislikes) when I'm eating out.

If you are one, what's wrong with you? And can I help? I'm not sure that my aversion to shellfish and many other types of fish qualifies me.  I'd say that my problem is pretty easy to work around.

my ex was like this and it drove me INSANE.

also...my mom, she'll eat a big variety of things...but she really doesn't like food.
she said that if someone made a pill to replace all food....that could make you feel full  etc.......that she'd willingly take it instead of cooking or eating.....cause cooking and eating take up too much time when she has other things she'd rather be doing.
  • beyondtheveil said on Oct 03, 2008....
unique- You don't qualify at all to the ones I'm talking about, your husband of the moment might. I don't know if finicky eating habits qualifies either. I know finicky eaters who still have a wide range in their likes for food. However, I do understand the frustration you speak of due to other people I know.

fallyn- You described my mother exactly when you described yours, pill and all. She actually told me of her wish for a pill to replace food many times. I got a good chuckle out of it. When I was a kid dinner interfered with my playing, I remember that.

Beyond ~ Great post! I've met people who have a severly restricted diet.  In part due to their parents lack of introduction and also a pandying to their childs tantrums.  It later than develoeps into full blown fear!

I had a friend when I was going through my bulemia who only ate frozen grapes, she couldn't stand the texture even of those, she found food, chewing swallowing and especially saliva horrific? its a mental disease if you ask me, developed over time and added to by other peoples lack of care.

I love food, all food, I'll try anything and I'm telling ya now I do eat organs, kidney, Lambs fry, I'll give anything a go once and if I don't like it I might try it again several years down the track to see if my taste buds have matured.

My sister-in-law suffered from anorexia when she was in her twenties, and after struggling for years she overcame it. Now in her fifties, she and I were on the buffet line at a local restaurant and, without taking her gaze from the large selection of food on her plate, she said "I used to hate food.......what was I...nuts?"

my son ate grilled cheese, peanut butter and jelly on white bread, and pancakes for the first 8 years of his life!
it used to drive me nuts.
he's since expanded what he eats, but it happened very very gradually....

my middle daughter eats pizza and chicken and fries.  oh and bagels.

    picky kids.

i used to moan to the pediatrician about my son's eating habits.  i'd say "he could go a whole day and eat nothing!"  and the doctor would say- he's growing, he's gaining weight, when he's hungry he'll eat.

that used to make me nuts too.
have you ever?  lol...when he's hungry he'll eat?  sheesh!

my sister has a 6 yr old boy who eats nothing but yogurt and peanut butter on ritz crackers.  he will occasionally eat plain pasta with just a little butter.
i tell her not to worry, and she looks at me like i have 3 heads.

And I hate to cook for picky eaters. I consider it some form of stubborness or need for power in most cases. " I don't like that and I'm not going to ear it." Or else their taste buds are'nt working. Let me cook for someone who likes all kinds of food and taste temtations. Then I'm a happy cook!

What's worse?  People who don't like food, people who like everything (no matter how bad it is), or people who lie and say they do/do-not like a particular food on the basis of whether they like you or not?

I have a friend whos family of 4 will run through $500.00+ in junk food in 4 days, but a steak will sit in their freezer until it's run black with frostbite.

I have another friend who will (literally) eat anything you put in front of him - irregardless of how charred/mangled/undercooked or overall gross it is.  Even if he thinks it's horrible he will eat the whole thing.

And I have a family member who will not eat a single thing I make - because she doesn't like me personally.

But I don't think I have really been as insulted as I've been recently with a friend who made a big deal out of asking me to make him a particular dish.  All the way through eating it he kept telling me I needed to spend a weekend with him just to learn how to make the dish right.

im one of those people. if i wasn't so conscious of health and staying healthy i would literally forget to eat. actually today was a day when i didnt eat until 4pm. yes i take a multivitamin. but food tastes bland to me and i have never used it as any form of comfort. i eat from all the food groups cos it's what you're sorta supposed to do. i never eat biscuits or cakes bec they just don't appeal. i hardly ever snack between meals. and my meals are small bec i'm just not hungry that much.

i love smoothies and fruits and veges though they are really the only things i crave much. sometimes the odd small chocolate here and there but that's it.

right now i'm eating a lentil salad with sprouts and cucumber and chopped up nuts and rocket and panfried chicken a few other things in it. only because it's healthy and it's dinner time.

i am one of those people. it's not that i hate food, i just don't like it all that much. i spent years only eating certain things. in the last decade, it occured to me how much i was missing out on, so i started broadening my horizons. i'll purposely pick something on the menu i've never had before, just to try it. i figured out that if i just don't like it, i don't have to order it again. and i've found that i like allot more things than i could have ever imagined. i'll even try something two or three times if i don't like it at first, because i learned i could acquire a taste for it. but i still don't eat much of it. such as, if i have a steak, i'll only eat about half of it, if i eat any more than that i feel nautious. but hey, at least i'm trying new things now, right?

transparentThe only thing I just won't eat is fish and seafood generally, I can't bare the smell for one thing! I was made to eat it as a child, I remember coming home from school and smelling fish, I'd cry till tea time, and cry and gag all the way through it.

I'm not a great meat fan either, but I will eat it.
  • beyondtheveil said on Oct 04, 2008....
lucy- Frozen grapes only? Oh, my God. But then, she was a sick puppy. I've tried the organs, mainly liver. I still can't quite eat it. I think its neat you'll try anything because that really widens your choices.

memyself- The ones who don't allow variety like to eat. I just can't see why they don't get tired of their few choices. I love seafood. The only one I won't eat is dolphin - they are almost human to me.

phoenix- Did you ever learn to eat the foods you had issues with? Some things I didn't like when young I like now.

twyla- I'm glad your sis-in-law overcame anorexia, many don't. Sounds like she's a winner now, though.

queenie- Believe me, my daughter is happy she's like that, she loves to eat. And I know a lot of people who seem to live on sweets. One of my freinds half lives on ice cream.

secret- Makes you wonder how kids survive, doesn't it? With my boys it was pizza, cereal, and sweets. We would take them to my parents house for a week a couple times a year. We know for a fact they had pizza seven days straight - grandparents, you know.
  • skald said on Oct 04, 2008....
Yes, I have a friend like that but I would not try to enhance her diet because she never does what she is asked to or takes an advise. She is simply proud of her poor diet and does not understand that she is undernourished.

There are people who simply don't know how to take care of them selves. Use the wrong food and are either overweight or undernourished because of this.
  • beyondtheveil said on Oct 04, 2008....
toni- We know people with cooking problems like you describe. It must be frustrating. In the cases we are familiar with its the man that is picky. Do you find that to be true? With adults, I mean.

rolling- I love menudo, but have to pick out the offal (its intestine, isn't it?). I also know a few who can't eat shellfish. I think that's quite common.

myth- I don't think I'd cook for the ones who didn't like me. You should tell your friend to prepare dinner next time he comes over. And if nothing else, the ones who like everything are easy to cook for. I only know one person like this.

phoeby- My mother was kind of like you. If it wasn't for staying alive, I don't know if she would have ever eaten. Although she was ok with many foods, she was rarely hungry. If food is bland, perhaps there are additives that would make it better for you. If there's something I'm not that crazy about, I cover it with salsa.

blue- What is that dish called? You're in Australia aren't you?

trav- The key to broadening those horizons is the willingness to try. The people I know that only eat a few things refuse to try. As I said in the post, they don't want to be "surprised". One friend I have won't eat grilled or BBQ'ed food. He says "I never could understand why anyone would want their food to taste like wood and smoke". He won't give it a chance.

batty- If you don't care for meat or fish, that's ok. Look at all the vegetarians.  Some fish does have a "fishy" taste and odor, then there are others that don't. My wife won't eat much fish due to the "fishy" problem. But she loves shellfish.
  • RollingC said on Oct 04, 2008....
I'm not sure if menudo is offal...if offal is what I think it is ...cow organs but not the main ones like liver, intestines, heart, etc.
I always thought menudo was intestines....and if they're done the Spanish way they are a hardy delicious stew for me.  Eat a plate of those and you'll be able to go 2 days without eating and not feel it.  They're delicious.

Funny though that I can eat clams, lobster, fish, eels, octopus, squid....but not shrimp.

    Rc
  • beyondtheveil said on Oct 04, 2008....
rolling- I looked up offal on encarta : (1) edible internal organs of an animal, e.g. heart, liver, brains, and sometimes tongue. (2) sometimes thrown away; discarded as refuse. So I still don't know if intestines is offal, possibly not from this definition.

I also find it funny you can't eat shrimp, but can eat the others. When I run across people who eat few things but will eat one fish or seafood, its usually shrimp they will eat.
  • travelr712 said on Oct 04, 2008....
oh, i understand that viewpoint very well btv. for me, it was just one symptom of much deeper issues. those of trust, confidence, control. oddly enough, when i began to give up my desire to control 'my little corner of the world', i also began to really desire new, unexpected things, one of them being foods that everyone else raved about. as i remember, my first venture into this new world was ministroni soup. i have no idea why i thought it repulsive for so many years, other than the fact that it wasn't chicken. now it's one of my three favorites, and i have it at least once a week. and in broadening that horizon, i am able to broaden so many others.

I'm a picky eater. I don't like surprises in my food. I can't eat anything if I don't know all the ingredients because I might bite into something gross. I'm not a fan of very many vegetables for starters. And I don't like strange sauces. Or organ meats. Or seafood. I don't like most fruits either. Just the smell of any type of melon makes me want to throw up.

I'm a very boring eater, but I know what I like, so why stray from that? :-P I think it does annoy people sometimes, but that's why I don't usually eat at other people's houses unless I know they're aware of the foods I don't eat. But I blame my parents because my mom only cooked like 5 dishes my whole life, and she's the pickiest eater in the entire world. It's genetic!

I don't believe that the dislike of food has been discussed here previously, if so I missed it, but it's a fascinating topic and my take on it might be weird.

I have one of those metabolisms that self-maintain on a constant level and my weight hasn't fluctuated out of a 10-pound range in 30 years.

I sometimes grow impatient with the process of eating, chewing, swallowing, and just wish that I could get the shit inside of me by opening a door  in my stomach! That usually happens when I'm working really hard on something and don't want to stop.

Throughout life I've never understood the "3 meals a day" mentality that calls for everyone to gather and eat at the same time. We are not all the same. We do not all need the same stuff. Our bodies are radically different when it comes to needs, and the preoccupation with food (though understandable in its evolution) is the true "mental disorder" entrenched in our culture.

"Eat when hungry" seems a wise rule to live by. It throws off social norms, but it's letting your instincts rule rather than the clock or your Mother. Eating big meals is not good for any system. Snacking is most likely the healthiest approach, food in small quantities spread out over the day.

Don't misunderstand, my taste buds work fine and I love flavors. I'm the kind who'll try almost anything at least once, and I even research foods I've never eaten to try and find out what I'm missing. I'll be willing to try something new while those around me are recoiling and wanting to head for Outback.

I even like to cook. People try to get me to cook all the time, 'cause I'm good at it. And I do have the occasional "pig-out" session. Indulgence can be fun.

But using food as punishment and reward (no dessert tonight, extra dessert tonight) and comfort (I'm depressed so let me eat) or social control (I'm fat so I don't have to deal with dating) is commonplace and abusive, whether self-abusive or toward others. Habitual food behaviors like "eating three squares a day" are so ingrained in us we rarely, if EVER, question their wisdom.

It really annoys me when people won't try something new, but I try to suppress it and remind myself that it's possible they aren't on autopilot and are also following their instincts. But I doubt it, in most cases. Listening to one's body is not a widespread practice on a subtle level. Only when raging heartburn or acid indigestion rears its blatant head do we realize that we've been abusing ourselves. Hell, you take a couple of pills to mask it and go on with your self-abuse.

When you think about it, it's kind of weird that we create festivals and events around food. It must've started when a starving mankind suddenly reached abundance and couldn't believe it. Gathering together to consume, consume, consume until we can't hold another bite.

It's kind of like sex addiction. Perhaps it's hard to pinpoint because we all have to eat, but truly there are FOOD ADDICTS rampant among us, whose misuse of food is as evil and harmful to the world as any other extreme form of behavior.

hi beyond -- i knew a few people who "don't like" food in that they are very choosy to the point of being annoyingly persnickety in what and how they eat. i don't try to psychologize or urge them or help them in anyway. they survived so far, didnt they? if they don't like the food served to them, i can help them by devouring it before they change their mind. you know me, friend. my world view is a simple dichotomy between edible morsels and non-edible stuff. lol.

hey tocayo moon platoon -- i can understand a lot of what you say, dude. you should write a book about it. i'm serious. as for me, i follow a simply body-building diet that's hi-protein lo-carb on weekdays when i work out, and an anything-goes diet on weekends. so far, the women have been real appreciative of the changes they see... and feel... My rules with food are there are no rules, I've never eaten three square meals a day.  I eat when I am hungry, and I eat what my body is telling me it wants and needs.  Because I enjoy food so much I have a broad and varied diet, a healthy diet including the fact I can eat Hot chips one day and pig out on a tuna salad the next...

Moonie ~ the non edible stuff being what? bugs, grass, bark (quite good for the gut actually) mud - tried that one too...lol

et- It certainly doesn't help if you were raised that way. I think you should do what traveler did - take a chance, experiment. I feel certain you would find many more foods you would like if given the chance. My wife won't eat any kind of melon either. And one thing I'm leery of that you mentioned is I won't try a restaurant's "special sauce". I've ruined food that way.

platoon- I started cooking over a year ago and really enjoy it. I do all the dinners. And I'm with you on the three meals a day. I've heard of places in Europe that eat more in the line of five 'meals' or snacks a day and I like that. We eat one prepared meal a day in the evening. At other times we snack and it works well for us. As for food and festivities, my guess is that it started because of 'the hunt' and/or cultural religious type days. Just a guess.

fallyn- I love nuts. They are one of my staples. The nuts I like cooked or mixed with food (sweets) is pecans. The nuts I mostly sit around and eat are Spanish peanuts, which aren't a nut but a bean. I have also found walnuts to not be the most tasty.

moon- Man, I don't know what it is but people who won't eat but a few things...they don't make me angry, I think they frustrate me. There are so many goodies in this world and they live on 'meat & potatoes'. But you're right, it leaves more for us.

Funny that because I'm only allergic to shrimp.

Farm raised or fresh water shrimp I can tolerate a bit more.   But fresh catch of the day deep-sea shrimp will start giving me a reaction.  Used to be just the smell of it would start the tingling feeling but lately I can tolerate a bit more
    .
Couple of years ago I went to a Chinese Buffet and they had this fabulously delicious dish with everything on it.  Squid, Octopus, Mussels, Scallops, just to name a few and of course...Shrimp.  I took the Shrimp out and thought I was safe and tasting some of it I found it so delicious that I spooned the sauce into the rice.

Big mistake spooning the sauce into the rice...it was Shrimp sauce basically.

My wife had to drive home as I started feeling bad right after the meal...wound up pulling over in some corner and up-chucking the meal...at least enough of it that I felt better and didn't wind up in ER that night.

lucy- Honestly, I have dreamed of living in a place with access to fresh sea food. Almost all the sea food I've eaten has been frozen at one time or another. I got fresh sea food on a vacation in Maine once. They had roadside places with outside picnic tables and sold fresh lobster and corn on the cob that you husked yourself. Great memories.

hey beyond -- i know a bit about hominid evolution. it was those species who didn't specialize in food habits, and who adapted to omniverous diets, that ultimately survived and spread all over the world, became homo sapiens sapiens.

i remember the tramp (charlie chaplin) in the film 'gold rush' where he survives on a boiled shoe while stranded in the blizzard-prone alaskan mountains. he eats the shoestring delightfully twisted around his fork, like spaghetti, and cuts the thick leather sole into bit-sized slices with fastidious care, like how a restaurant connoisseur would attack his steak. not that i prescribe shoes as part of the daily human diet, but hey, it's basically cowhide aint it. i've eaten cowhide. it's... stomach-filling, to say the least... :-)

hey lucy -- some bugs are edible, even utterly delicious. have you tried ant larvae from high up mango trees? yummy. you have to sautee them with lotsa garlic and onion. many grasses are edible, digestible, and give some nutrition. ask my australopithecine ancestors... :-) and some barks are perfect tea material. what else is edible? well, delectable tarts are eminently edible. lol.

  • Lucytorial said on Oct 04, 2008....
Ohh tarts! yes, know them well.  Moon I regularly cold smoke my barramundi in green ant larvae.  Perfect with palm heart salad *-}  How about a whichiteegrub? you tried that! and yes, I almost forgot the asorted barks around the world make tasty teas, along with cockroaches.  The aussie giant cockroach has a rather gamey flavour but its best served with a few greens.

Beyond ~ fresh is best, I won't buy frozen thats pernickety no? but I have choice.
  • beyondtheveil said on Oct 04, 2008....
moon- Do you mean those referred to as hunter-gatherers? Nomadic types?
  • Lucytorial said on Oct 04, 2008....
australopithecine refers to early man.  lived over 4 million yrs ago.. there Austro's are the gracile and Paranthopus are the robust... but Parantha's didn't appear until 2.7 million years ago.
  • moonriver said on Oct 04, 2008....
lucy -- my god lucy, i think you're a more committed omnivore than i am. whichiteegrub? is that the same as the buttermilk-tasting pine beetle grub? yum. australian giant cockcroach... hmmm i'll have to taste it first before i make any culinary judgment. you remove the wings before you roast it, or you include them?

beyond -- yup, my friend. all hominid species were nomadic hunter-gatherers for millions of years, before most homo sapiens groups finally settled down to sedentary farm life during the neolithic period. i have fond memories of that pre-agriculture era... lol.

  • beyondtheveil said on Oct 04, 2008....
lucy- Now just how would you go about getting a cupful of ant larvae?

I'll pass on the giant cockroach, even with a few greens.

You must get a laugh out of us Americans now and then (except when our banks go under).
  • Lucytorial said on Oct 04, 2008....
Moon ~ the best part of the cockroach is the wings... crunchy! just like prawn legs, I never throw prawn legs away I like to deep fry them... you do remove the head of the cockie though.  Whichetee grubs are an absolute delicacy seriously! they are so high in protien, I think they have more protien that steak.. anyway raw or cooked they are grubs that eat out the centre of tree's the same trees aboriginals make their digeridoo's out of.  Figure that music and food what more do you need!
  • moonriver said on Oct 04, 2008....
lucy -- the prevailing theory is that A. robustus becamae too specialized and died out with climate change (which induced changes in food sources), while the more omnivorous graciles (either afarensis or africanus or yet undiscovered ones) survived to give rise to the Homo genus, which in turn gave rise to h. sapiens.

hey, lucy! did you know that the most famous gracile australo fossil was also named lucy? they say she lived as a famous commercial model and aspiring film-maker back then, in the south african outback. you have a very famous ancestor and namesake, my australo friend... LOL.

  • Lucytorial said on Oct 04, 2008....
Tee he hee moon, it may surprise you to know that I studied archaeology a couple of years back.  I find Lucy fascinating (lol - so do many).  There is also Mungo Man which I did quite a bit on as well, most of it was based on Australia however when you're talking species developement and the rise and fall of certain species the fossil finds are astounding throughout the world.

There are a few theories out there saying that the link from Gracile to Homo is conjecture because no true link has been found.
  • moonriver said on Oct 04, 2008....
lucy -- what? you cut off the head of the cockie before you eat it? this confirms what i've suspected all along. lucy, you're a real bad-ass girl! LOL.

whichetee grubs, digeridoo music... awesome combination. the only things you need to add are body paint, wild community moonlight dancing, and a concocted drink that gives you a vision of heavenly delights. i think there's a lot to say in favor of life in the australian bush... :-)

beyond -- in my home country, most fruit trees will happily host a colony of big ants in summer. it's always an exciting time for rural folk to harvest ant larvae... sometimes by the bucketful, sometimes by the cupful, depending on how prolific the fruit-bearing trees have been in that season.

  • moonriver said on Oct 04, 2008....
lucy -- well, howdy, miss lucindiana jones...:-)
i have a nagging suspicion that the reason they haven't found the true gracile-to-homo link up to now is that he's alive and well, in one of his in-between-travel modes, blogging here at Sc right this very moment, and enjoying every bit of the discussion. lol.

  • Lucytorial said on Oct 04, 2008....
LOL ~ I love the way your mind works.

And here I thought you were a young whipper snapper... te he hee some of the best digs for fossil man are in Australia, Lawn Hill area is a great place.  This particular area of NT is where I based one of my novels, obviously this is where the Lucindiana jones in me found out she really likes old objects, including ancient man!

I've never had the pleasure of eating insects or grubs...unless you count those little house ants in your bread.  I don't even bother brushing them off and put the slice in the toaster figuring that whatever don't kill me will make me strong.
However I never really tasted any difference in flavor.
I've seen in the travel food channel (forgot the name), where they show exotic food from all over the world, a place in Mexico where they showed the traditional foods from before Columbus that were still sold and consumed and part of the traditional diet.   In the marketplace they sell all kinds of insects like grasshoppers, scorpions, larvae of different types and even mosquito eggs....(yummy)...  don't know about the mosquito eggs as the travel guy tasted it and wasn't thrilled with the flavor....but most everything else he gave the thumbs up and said it tasted good...albeit a bit of a nutty flavor with some (which is ok with me)
I wouldn't mind going there and trying out some of those.   He specially liked the larvae though can't remember what insect it was from.

moon- First, I've seen a reconstruction of Lucy the gracile fossil - are you sure she was a model? My, but views of beauty have changed.

I've never seen an ant bed anywhere but in the ground. Ants here climb trees and climb down to go home.

rolling- Toasted ants? I'd put lots of jelly on that dude.
  • phoeby said on Oct 05, 2008....
yeah, good idea. suppose i should jsut add nicer sauces and spices and things and it would taste better.

or just go out with a cheffy type of guy who likes to cook!

There's a certain type of tree that has hollow branches and that tree has a symbiotic relation with a particular species of ants that live within it.
The tree gives it shelter and food and the ants give the tree protection from termites and such.

There's a great little song in the fun cartoon movie, "Ice Age 2." It's "Food Glorious Food!" sung by the vultures as they wheel Esther Williams-like in the sky. It's hilarious and says it all. LOL
  • moonriver said on Oct 05, 2008....
beyond -- well, i was browsing through a whole slew of lucy reconstruction pics, my friend. that girl is a hottie, i tell you! did you see her centerfold-quality pics here? but i prefer to imagine her in a romantic setting, spending some quality time with her latest hunk doing the footprints-in-the-sand thingie, here. hey lucytorial, if you're reading this... now you know where you got that impossible libido. lol.

  • RollingC said on Oct 05, 2008....
    What a hottie !!
The one walking on the sand (beach?) with her boyfriend is priceless !
I guess in those days nude beaches were quite the common thing.  LOL

rolling- We don't have any of those trees - but thanks for the interesting info.

kath- They have a song for us? Great. Maybe its on youtube.

moon- Wow... I stand corrected as all hell...How could Petra Nemcova, Heidi Klum, Marisa Miller, and Claudia Shiffer stand up to that white hot chick?
