So the Republicans think the Bush plan SUCKS and don't want to sign on for the buyout b/c QUOTE(from 1 Republican Senator) "They don't agree with buying this toxic debt for trillions of borrowed dollars and there is nothing in it for the American public." WOW. I've never been so proud of the Republicans in my life. But their fearless leader is looking more and more foolish by suspending his campaign and refusing to debate Obama when his OWN PARTY is the one holding up the talks by not signing on.

I hope the Democrats reexamine the plan b/c if the Republicans won't sign on to it risking their Fearless leaders' embarressment and possible further slip in the poles then it should signal the BIGGEST of RED ALERTS. I don't see the correlation btwn his boycott of the debates which occur at night TONIGHT and Both parties sitting down today trying to hammer out a solution to our current financial crisis. I see someone not ready and the 1st excuse to bail he's done so. If he's unready to debate Obama perhaps he's unready to run this country b/c he doesn't beleive in the ideologies that he's proposed and yet unready to defend in a healthy exchange of debate.

Think long and hard people. The world is watching. Make the RIGHT choice in November.
Either way the next President is in for a WINDFALL of problems due to the GIANTIC MESS that George W  has left so they will ultimately be blamed for the everything under the blue moon b/c of him. George is trying to clean up one last mess before he goes so that he and his cronies will be o.k. when he leaves office. And he can't even get that done. Listen tonight if they DO debate and THINK. I urge you.

Well the new deal is suppose to cut out the executive perks(All that extra money and severance packages). YES! Finally someone gets it. I don't get a reward when I don't do my job right so why should these guys. And they have to pay the money back. I don't think Bushes plan was as defined. This is the latest one making the rounds.

They said McCain's presence amounted to more of a circus and he had nothing meaningful to add.He NEVER ACTUALLY suspended his campaign he just pulled back ads and stuff and moved it to capitol hill. What a deceptive asshole. I can see why O and many liken him to George W. He's so ready to act and be President now but he couldn't get his own side to sign off on the deal. This is laughable.

More George leaders that can't lead. I would urge the Dems to think long and hard about signing off on the deal if the rich boy republicans don't want to do it. The republican's (many who are up for reelection, which I think is one of the many "Real Reasons" they don't want to sign after losing their own money. I thought that might be 1 of the reasons these guys were so adamant on not signing.) might be on to something and don't want to be on the hook when and if this falls apart. They'll be the ones who will get to say:" We told you so. We didn't want to sign on for this in the 1st place even though he was our boss."

    • It is nice to see them go above their own needs even though it's more motivated by them wanting to keep their political jobs. I say make Wall street sell the Mansions, the expensive cars, and all the other toys and pay their companies back so that they  can function. THIS ALL HAPPENED FOR A REASON. Those who repeat pass mistakes are DOOMED to REPEAT them. The mistake was that they got GREEDY like our forefathers from the great depression era. And now we are seeing the repercussions as they did. These companies have to wake up and get people who WANT to get hired to do their job. Not b/c they get a private jet,7mill in severance and/or perks. Not b/c of the whores that can be hired at the private parties to do sexual favors and certainly not to raid the corporate company like their own personal piggy bank(think Enron,Tyco,$15,000 shower curtains, million dollar birthday parties for the spouse etc.,.) But  b/c they think they can make a difference and make that particular comapany great and functionable. Make it work.

Not destroy it from within and tear it down with greed. WE NEED REAL LEADERS! NOT BOYS AND THEIR TOYS!

I think he showed up last night b/c he Knew it'd be the kiss of death to his campaign if he didn't and that his excuse of being part of the budget solution when Dems and Republicans alike were saying his presence was more of a circus and he didn't help except for a few comments and quips would have certainly sunk his ship for sure. I think O won and that's what he was afraid of. But at least he was there to defend his idiologys. I respect that.
