Joe Biden did a speech yesterday and a large part of it was about Iraq. Iraq? I thought the news of the day was the mortgage meltdown. Since Iraq has shown to be a big loser for Democrats it has been off the headlines.
But isn't it interesting that we are in an election year and in one of the greatest financial meltdowns in history and everyone is talking about bailouts and solutions but no special investigations and no blame game pointed at Republicans or even President Bush.
Could it be the Democrats know they are the reason for this debacle. Liberal socialist policies dating as far back as far as Carter led to this and they all know it. John McCain in 2005 tried to halt this madness and was shot down by a Democratic controlled Congress.
Barney Frank and Chris Dodd the Democrat banking committee men along with Barack Obama received huge campaign contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac while at the same time watching our financial system crumble. Republicans are not completely blameless here, but everyone including Democrats know who holds the vast majority of blame and it is evident by the media's muted response.
