I was surprised to hear that Bas arranged for Kimbo Slice to fight Ken Shamrock. Shamrock is an accomplished ground fighter. How the hell is Kimbo Slice going to avoid getting submitted on the ground? I don't get it.

The only shot Kimbo has is that Ken Shamrock sucks these days. But is that enough? I don't know. I'd have to make a sucky Shamrock a pretty solid favorite to submit Kimbo. Kimbo seems like a helpless horse's ass on his back. Isn't that where Shamrock is going to put him? Isn't the fight going to be Ken Shamrock taking Kimbo down, putting him on his back, and submitting him, with Kimbo looking like a helpless ass out of his element?

One thing Shamrock is NOT is stupid. Right? Shamrock isn't going to stand in front of Kimbo and trade punches.

The only shot that Kimbo seems to have in this fight is if Shamrock sucks even more than he has sucked in recent fights. Shamrock has done nothing but lose. His last loss was to nobody in particular, some English guy named Buzz Berry who really is no big deal, and the thing is, I expected Buzz Berry to win because Shamrock sucks now.

It is definitely conceivable that Shamrock has attained such dizzying heights of suckdom that he will actually lose to Kimbo. How he will lose, I haven't figured out yet. I guess Kimbo will whack him around a bit and Shamrock will lose a decision. Has Shamrock fallen that low already? Maybe but I don't think so.

I'd actually like to see a fight between Kimbo Slice and Shinya Aoki. Aoki is a lightweight, at 155 pounds, and he's not the best lightweight in the world. Maybe he is top ten. I would make him a 5-1 favorite to beat Kimbo Slice because Aoki has a lot of submissions.

I think 145 pound world champion Urijah Faber would kick Kimbo's ass.

The sad thing about it is that Kimbo Slice is probably one of the nicest men in MMA. He is a soft spoken gentleman. There's Ken Shamrock, who really is an ass, saying that he's insulted to be fighting Kimbo Slice and that he's going to destroy him, and there's Kimbo saying he is honored to fight such a great man as Shamrock. Come on now, how do you root for an arrogant putz like Ken Shamrock, and how do you root against such a class act as Kimbo?
