I had an "awwww" moment this morning. Last night my husband had a bit of a short temper, and was a little harsh when our 2 year-old son acted up. This morning he apologized to me, then to our son. Our son happily nodded the whole time, then said, "it's okay."

How cute! If only the whole world had that attitude, we would get along a lot better.

Later, when I was making eggs in the kitchen, my son ran up to me with my glasses in hand, and gave them to me. How thoughtful!

Now he is playing with his crayons, and he wanted us to help him write his name, "mommy," "daddy," "grandma, "grandpa," out. He is so smart!

I am awed whenever I have moments like these. This is the indescribable upside to having kids that kid-haters don't know or think about.
