Mitsubishi is planning to unveil a new car at this year’s Paris Motor Show. Rumor has its going to be similar to the company’s Concept cX that was released a couple of months back. I just hope that the car will end up looking better than the Concept cX. After seeing what it looked like, it kind of left a bad taste in my mouth.

So far, the only image we have of this new mystery vehicle is the one pictured at TopSpeed. It does have a fierce looking front, with its slant-eyed headlights and wide grille. Of course, this design is very similar to front end of that dreaded Concept cX. I’m hoping that their similarity ends there.

Aside from the rumored similarities it has with the Concept cX, the only other information we have on this mystery ride from Mitsubishi is that it’s probably going to be a baby SUV. So it’s probably built to withstand the everyday grind of urban driving as well as the occasional outdoor road trips. Rough roads may be out of the question all together.

Again, I’m hoping that this mystery ride turn out better looking than the Mitsubishi Concept cX. I just can’t find myself falling in love with how it looks, particularly its rear end.

Oh, and off topic, aside from this mystery vehicle, Mitsubishi will also be unveiling a new Lancer Sportback and a new Racing Lancer as well. At least there’s something to look forward to in case the company’s new baby SUV doesn’t turn out to be too appealing.
