There are two clients of Lisa's who stand out as my favorite. I just saw a repeat of one of them yesterday. The young girl whose husband was killed in Iraq. I think that has to be my number one Lisa episode. It is season 1, episode 1.

Lisa met her in the hotel that the girl and her friend were staying at. She had traveled cross country just to meet with Lisa. And yet she was a skeptic. Something drew her to Lisa despite her skepticism. She said that she was very religious and didn't believe in mediums. She expected it to be a bunch of garbage, a hoax. Yet she came.

Heading up the elevator, Lisa said there was a young man with her, very insistent, very impatient. It doesn't normally happen that way. Normally the spirit will not appear until the session begins. This one was dogging Lisa's steps, talking to her before the session began.

As Lisa sat across from the girl and her girlfriend, Lisa was already in conversation with the man in spirit. The girl thought Lisa was nuts. She was making the oddest movements. The girl just thought "uh oh".

Then Lisa told the girl what was going on. The man in spirit mentioned Iraq! She saw stars and stripes. She said she hopes this is not what she thinks it is, but it happened once before, and she believes it means that the man in spirit was an American soldier who died in Iraq. Lisa said this is very close to her heart. The girl's face started to break up, near tears.

Lisa got up off the couch and kneeled in front of the young widow. Lisa stared into her face from this position. The girl cried. She said that is exactly what her husband used to do, to get down to her level, and she knew that her husband was in the room, that Lisa was not a hoax, because nobody in the world knew that, knew the way her husband used to get on his knees in front of her and talk to her like that.

Lisa mentioned the four roses, without knowing what it meant. The young widow knew exactly what it meant. It was referring to something that was said at the soldier's funeral, something about four roses for four questions that needed to be asked. One of the questions was why he didn't get his ass behind a wall or something, why he stayed in harm's way. The soldier said "because I had to".

Lisa started holding her throat and saying Owww. She said there was tremendous pain across her throat. The young widow said that a bullet pierced his throat, went straight through it, pierced the carotid. The husband said I'm safe now.

The husband said "I wasn't the only one." Then the young widow swallowed hard and said yes, 11 soldiers died.

The husband remarked about his wife changing things around in the kitchen, moving things. The wife busted out in a shocked smile. She had just been moving around everything in her kitchen. Lisa said that the husband was in the room with her, watching her, seeing her indecision, being amused by it, laughing at her as she moved her stuff around.

The husband referred to a wedding photo that his wife took off the wall and put away. He said he interfered with it. She snapped out "Why did you do that?" The glass had been shattered. He said that she could get it reframed. Lisa said that when the husband shattered the glass it was his way of saying he was there.

The husband told his young widow that she should live her life and meet other men, but that if things start happening around them, negative things, it would be him telling her this is not the right one for her.

She started to cry and said that she's not a good listener and she can't hear him when Lisa's not there. He said all she needs to know is that he loves her.

As Lisa left the hotel room, the young widow said she expected it to be a hoax and she is so shocked that it is real. That is the reaction of almost everyone who has contact with the amazing Lisa Williams. Everyone expects it to be a hoax, and everyone is shocked to learn that it is not a hoax, it is real.
