Especially Christmas.
This is supposedly a Christian holiday celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ whom christians believed died for our sins.
So If you don't practice a major religion that engages in this season in one way or the other ... do you force your children to be seperated from others by this?
And if you don't, does this make you a hypocrite?
Easter. Christian holiday that schools support AND if you don't engage then your child is singled out amongst peers in school.
But then you have Halloween. Originally a pagan holiday. Local schools no longer allow students to dress in "scary" costumes, but still throw halloween parties and insist students dress up as homework topics.
Does our society have even a clue what it wants to be?
