So, today my daughter went back to school and even though my husband is on vacation this week, he worked at his part-time landscaping job today. Ergo, I was all alone today. It felt like the two weeks that my daughter was gone on vacation, except that I knew she would be home, eventually. Her school is on a split schedule, so she doesn't start until 9:45 and doesn't get out until 3:45. I am so used to her being home with me in the summer and by 3 at the latest during school that I found myself calling my husband at 3:15 to complain about being bored!

And I complain about my daughter crying boredom two days into summer! What a hypocrite I am. LOL

I think I am missing the fact that I don't have to start school and without a job yet, have not a whole lot to fill my days. Well, I will finally have time to finish my sister's quilt that will be 3 years past due in August and maybe work on some digitizing to get my own website up and running. I need to bring in money one way or another (and I refuse to start pole dancing - of course my daughter says no one would want to see my sagging size D boobs anyway, but that's another story! LOL)

Hunter, I know you are at home because of your illness, but what do you do to combat the boredom when you can't bake bread? Or anyone else, what do you do to keep yourselves occupied when you are home alone? Don't suggest cleaning though, I have a cleaning phobia, I am sure of it and the dust bunnies would probably agree. :)

Oh yes, and I finally got some sleeping pills to help with my insomnia. Unfortunately they work so well that I have been up and at 'em since 8 am and I am not used to being awake before 11 or 12, so I had an extra 3-4 hours of alone time to kill. When I am awake at night, it doesn't seem so lonely because at least my family is here, even if they are asleep.
