Okay, so I think I am for McCain/Palin.  I think she has shown tremendous resolve in the midst of some truly heated and personal attacks.  She has shown herself to be tough so far and I don't see that changing with her because that seems to be her character.  She's from a small town, as much as the elitist media resents that, and so I think she relates to small town folk and that attracts me to her.  Also, she will be an advocate for special needs families.  A family member of mine is a special needs child and I, all too well, know how tough it is to raise a special needs child in a world that cares only for the "normal" kids.  That kind of mentality needs to end, and I believe Sarah Palin when she says that special needs families will have an advocate in the white house.  Now, of course, things could change and I could end up changing my mind.  I am an independent (I voted for Gore/Leibermann in 2000) and I never close my mind on any candidate until after I check off the ballot.  But as of right now, I love Palin and I am voting for her and John McCain.

I can always be counted on to oppose any and all candidates. I hate them all, not only candidates, but past presidents, and I think they should all be whipped, tarred and feathered, run out of town on a rail, hanged by the neck until dead, twice, and then whacked right in the mouth.

Hmmm...I don't quite know how to respond to that.   B^D

Charlie Gibson of ABC has just been outed for mischaracterizing Sarah Palin's views on Iraq and "Holy War." Ed Koch was on the radio this morning recounting a story about Palin and library censorship in which the material facts were patently false. He got his story from the New York Times - no longer worthy of the "paper of record" distinction.

The sick and twisted lying liberals in the media have propagated scurrilous rumors about Palin. Cowardly, ambulance-chasing, carrion-sifting Husseiniac legal buzzards have descended upon  Alaska in search of some entirely media manufactured "scandal". Once career-minded liberal feminists now want Palin to go home, put on her bedroom slippers and take care of her children.

The cream filling in this entire story isn't how shallow, vicious and utterly hypocritical the libs are, that's not news. It's how quickly the Husseiniacs have lost ground in national polls - despite the hollow greek pillars and all - simply because of the entrance of one small-town hockey mom.

If Sarah Palin is a pit bull with lipstick, the Democrats have revealed themselves as little more than a bunch of yapping little toy poodles, poofy fur, ribbons and all.

Guess who I WON'T be voting for in November?

Curm, you are absolutely right. The leftist cooks attacking Palin are showing their true colors...they are selling out on women's liberation (if they were ever on the side of women) in order to play party politics and join in on a circle jerk led by chauvinistic Jack-asses (the symbol of the Democrat party, mind you).  The funny thing is is that to a majority of Americans, who don't have the @$#&ing the money to live in Posh Hollywood, or the ritzy areas of other major cities, are resentful of these over-the-top, elitist, attacks against a woman who more represents them 1 million times more than the smear-merchants do.  Sure, Barack Obama hasn't been sexist, or elitist, in his comments (at least not in my hearing...if I am wrong correct me curm) toward Palin...but his liberal ass-wiping colleagues and friends are really doing their part on HURTING his chances of winning the Presidency.  Go ahead...you sell-outs...keep slamming into the "pit bull with lipstick."  Because, if there's one thing I know about pit bulls, lipstick or no lipstick, when they bite back, they don't let go until your dead!  If that is what you want to happen to your "history making" chances keep up the good work. You're continually losing my vote, of which at one time you had, and I am sure I am not the only one!

The truth is that she is too smart, too direct, too pretty, too transparent and too talented for them.  They only want women that they can control, I guess.

In fairness, I must say that have heard quite a few liberal democtatic women coming to her "aid" on Fox News.  Quite a few.  They usually hate Republicans and go on and on about them.  This twist has their attention though.  They are quite frankly, embarassed at the attacks made by the liberal media and other democrats.

Now, if you think that Obama and Biden's speech writers accidentally slipped that word:  "lipstick" into their remarks, talking points, and speeches...you are incredibly naive my friend.  There are no "accidents" in political rhetoric.  There are "Freudian" slips and outright barbs, but there are no accidents.

They knew exactly what they were saying and why they were saying it.  Their audiences knew too.  Watch that clip again.  It wasn't an "accident", it was an "on purpose".

I am a communication consultant and a writer.  You can count on their intention being just what it appeared to be.  True that they were cheap shots, but they were aimed directely at Sarah Palin, because they are scared of her.

I like her too.  No doubt about it.  Now I can vote for McCain.  I can see his decisiveness.  Picking her was brilliant.  I can trust her to watch over him and keep him straight ; )  Perhaps this is a woman that will surround a man?  : )  I think you'll know what I mean.

Who knows?  Exciting times on the planet earth though.  As much as I can weary of the decadence...I must say, these are exciting times to be allowed to see.

You know what?  I had a brother that used to try to get me to join NOW.  I kept telling him "no"...they don't represent me or my interests at all.  He would like to have had control over me too.  He would like to have injected his liberal, sexist/misogynist (in my humble opinion) agenda into my head like a deadly hypodermic mind numbing, identity stealing drug.  ; )  Can women hate women?  Yes.  Can women hate themselves?  Yes.

Sarah Palin is comfortable with herself; and smart, yet humble.  You are right MH...she can take it.  It is a reflection on them...all of them.  The View?  What a joke.

    Blessings,

I agree Truth.  I wrote this before actually hearing of the "lipstick" comment.  I certainly don't think that comment was "by accident" at all.   On Fox News, I have heard honest debate between liberals and conservatives over the blatantly sexist comments being made against Palin; however, try looking beyond Fox News for it.  I have not heard (aside from that one CNN clip I posted) any criticism of the sexist attacks against her. Perhaps there are liberal feminist voices speaking against the attacks; however, if that is the case, then, by and large, the liberal media is silencing it.

I couldn't remember the proper spelling of your name to send you a copy of a pm I sent out a while ago.  Take a look at my latest blog and also, the blog of a really nice person called Watchmanwhatofthenight.  I can post a link, but I don't want to...you'll see why.

I saw the same thing on Fox News.  It is the only place where there is sane discussion of the issues and where they are not condoning the nasty attacks on this woman, our future Vice President (I pray) and where they are actually condemning them.

I heard Katie Couric say that it is wrong...I thought that was good...but others on the same network were ridiculous.  That's about it.  I haven't heard any more sanity from network media than that.

NOW is definitely against her.  They have said as much.  They don't consider her to be a feminist.  They are exposed for who they truly are now too.

Later friend.  I'll send you copies of the pm now.  Take care.
