Wow here we go again, another hurricane making it's way through the gulf of Mexico threatening to make a direct hit on Galveston Texas . I was considering building a gym in Galveston, but two many other issues altered my plans this year. I'm not bragging but I do own a gym in Texas. It's located far enough away from the Gulf that I should be ok. My son has a contractor standing by just in case I need to have plywood put over the glass. The plywood has been used in the past. The wood is cut and stacked with pre drilled holes. The window framing has built in anchors. Each piece of plywood is numbered and marked. The contractor would only have to follow an easily read blueprint to install. I thank God this time I'm a little more prepared but I asure you I'm under alot of stress. I feel sorry for business owners in the area. Plywood is scarce and the price of a sheet is selling for ridiculously outrageous prices. I'm sorry to say there are alot of cruel money hungry building supply companies taking advantage of people when they're in times of need. It's sad. I try not to talk about situations such as this with my wife, when I do she seems strong but I can see the strain in her face.
It's almost as if somebody is controlling the weather. Hurricanes are developing one after another. It's as if they're being shot out of a tennis ball machine aimed at the south east. I know I sound like a whiny baby but It felt good to talk about it. . . .
And I'd do it again :0)
