i came accross a question today.  have u started a bucket list ?  well i know what  a bucket list is and i saw the movie . and i own a copy of it too.  one of the few movies i have made the effort to actually own. the other movie i own is grumpy old men.   i also finished the book the last lecture tonight. with eyes still full of tears for a man that millions have gotten to know so briefly in a book.  am saddened for the family who has lost a good man.

i decided it was time for me to start a bucket list. no i am not dying but a list of things to do might give me a direction to go with .   will work on that in the coming days. there are lots of things i want to do. most of which take money . but for now i will work on the ones that dont.

i think what this book and movie have shown me is that i need to move along...........with or with out the husband. i know i can do it......

    i just loved The Bucket List!
    I've seen it twice, and there aren't many recent movies i can say that about!

    I think writing a bucket list would be alot of fun really-  there was a post here about 2 years ago where we all wrote down the things we wanted to do before we died, and it really makes you think!

    i had alot of travel items on my list....places i'd love to see.
    unfortunately, my husband isn't interested in leaving this country and so many of my "places" aren't here.  so i guess i'll have to see them alone........there are worse things!

    i would love to travel. i had planned a trip accross europe for my 50 th birthday . but with the cost of airfare now.....its now on the back burner. i would travel with out him as well.........probly have more fun........shopping and all that.  what i know for sure is i am not spending my retirement in a lazy boy chair watching tv.......

    yeah, i'm a few years older than you are, but i've been thinking about the retirement thing alot lately and believe me, i'm not planning to have worked for 35 years only to sit at the end and do nothing-
    at some point, you really have to do what YOU want to do-  and i figure i'll have given enough by that time to enjoy some independence.

    my husband wants a condo in Florida-  I'll make you laugh-
    I've been thinking he could go to Florida for 1/2 a yr while I traveled.
    LOL...hey, it's a compromise!

    I was close to hiring that movie out a few days ago but didn't.  After this I might have to!

    You know, I started a bucket list ages ago, I kind of think why wait, why wait until I get to 45 or 55 or 60 even, I'm impatient so l figured if I could start it now I'll need a rest when I'm older.  :-}

    Dont really have anything out there that I would like to do. I would like to be thin, probably have to die to see that anyway.
    I would like to meet some of the people I have met on line, just to see ya know. I guess I am one of those that have no aspirations, atleast right now.
