I need some advice.....HOW DOES A PERSON BUY AND SELL AND MAKE MONEY?
I have tried to make some money on the side, and have met with some interesting situations.
One person I met goes to garage sales and then has a route which he goes on from time to time. A lot of people in his town buy the things he has accumulated. He says that he makes about $300 a week doing this.
Another person told me that he too goes to garage sales. He has a variation on his activity though. He goes and buys electronic devices he finds, (stereos, radios, tape players, etc) and then takes them to a local pawn shop where he gets his "play money" as he calls it.
One person told me that he goes to Sears, and buys tools in the bulk packages. He breaks up the groups and repackages them. He then takes them to flea markets and resells the tools, making a little profit on each package. Thus he makes about $300 a weekend.
Joe, an out of a job former maintenance man found his niche in that he goes to garage sales and buys all the clothes he can find. He turns around and ships them to friends in Mexico where they sell the clothes for about 100 times more than he paid for them.
Alicia sells Levi jeans to China, she makes great money collecting old jeans from thrift stores and other places.
These are just some suggestions of how people have made money in PRACTICAL ways.

One guy even collects cans off of the side of the road. He doesn't make much, but he says that it pays for his gas. What kind of stories do you have?
