I have been wondering for sometime, whether or not the 2008 election will have an effect on music or the music industry? As a dedicated musician and fan of mostly all walks of music, I wonder will the lyrics of rap and songs change. Will the standard of rap music change, will rappers now think closely of what kind of message and image they are portraying?

I am nuetral. But if Obama was to become president of the United States of America, will artists/rappers step back, think, and decide to create a better image for young people in America and Internationally. Since it is such a big deal that a black man has gotten this far, are we going to continue with this laid back attitude; this attitude of what can I possibly do?

First of all, we should be able to make a difference or have the desire for better, without needing a push. But since everyone is not born a leader, whats next? History is being made on the Democratic side and the Republician side as well; so how much of a push do we need now. Many artists talk about the hardship growing up and what they did not have, apparently they had the desire for better, they wanted more then the card their parents handed them.. so now that we are on the top; have we now gotten lazy? Is our stomachs to full to get up, or pockets to full to move?
