Well, here's my first post on this (new to me) site. I'm lonely, sad, and not particularly inspired. As a working jazz pianist, it can be hard to play well under the burden of this much stifling loneliness. Sometimes it can be fuel for the playing to be transcendent, but more often it's just hard to see the keyboard as an old friend.
Wish there was someone to share this life with. I wish so many things. I once enjoyed a warm family, busy life, incredible success in so many ventures. It's a lot different now.
Quiet, isolated, empty nester, lonely. I just wonder if there's anyone out there who will actually read this.
