I have not written a blog for a while. I have been thinking weather I should go on or not. I am sure you all think like that at times.
Yesterday Gummi, my son was moving from the apartment he rents. He is going to study in England for three and a half years and I sure will miss him.
He will come home at Christmases and so on.
He rented down town and it is a traffic street. We could not get a parking place and had to station the jeep  by the Danish embassy, which is a beautiful house. His house is opposite.  Of course you are not supposed to park there. It was a Saturday afternoon and almost no traffic.

Going over the street again and again. Lucky that the parking place in front of the house was not taken. It was to small for the jeep with the wagon but there was no obstruction getting form the house to the street. Some one took the parking place when we went. Good timing

Over the street they go and had luck. It was a Saturday afternoon and not so much traffic as usually.

In the middle you see a big church which is being repaired now. This is not the first time it happened to me but when I was photographing this a tourist saw me doing it and did the same. The last time it happened, it was in Berlin. I was photographing a side street a tourist saw it and did the same. All the other tourists were photographing the main attractions.

We were finished and going from the Danish embassy where we stopped the car. Should I say where we parked illegally? We had the blinking lights on all the time and sometimes necessity brakes the rules. The red house is the one where Gummi rented.  .

Bookmarking, dearest skald! (will have more peace later to go through the pictures and it´s captions...)

I want to leave a message though...

    I have missed you (((((((((huggies))))))).

I hope the feeling would pass and you would go on blogging as you always do.  SC would not be the same if you would not post your blogs.  I think you have influenced a lot of people in being more open and sharing with their lives through your pictures.

I cannot thank you enough for taking my fear and hesitation to share again. :)

You have enriched my life, by sharing yours...

    Warmest regards,

    paper ~

Well I for one am very glad you decided to keep posting, skald.  I wasn't here over the weekend, and when I came back last night, I wondered where you were.  I would miss you.

What a wonderful opportunity Gummi has to study in England!  Still I know you will miss him.  Thank heaven for cell phones and e-mail, right?  Good luck and a safe journey to him.  :)

Joanna.  Thank you so much, I was just telling a friend that what holds me here on Soulcast is people like you. I mentioned a few names and your name was amongst them, so was Mimi. Thank you so much for your kind remark.
Mimi.  Thanks Mimi. Gummi will go on Thursday. He wants to cook for us before he goes. Like I said to Paper, it´s for people like her and you and some others I stay. You are such wonderful people.
Wish.  You are such a dear SoulCaster. Thanks so much. Yes, I´ll miss my baby but so many others have had their babies go and he is not so young anymore. lol

Skald:  {{{{HUGS}}}}  Polarkins can take care of him!
Where will the children be?  I can't imagine them not being with you all the time!  Did their Mom stay in Berlin?  I'm sorry if I'm confused.

You'll miss him, but the time will fly by :-) Keep on blogging, I like to see all your pictures :-)

Daily. ((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))) No. Adda is here and will be here. The children will continue coming to us every weekend. I know they will miss their daddy but he can't study this in Iceland and it is his dream to get work as a photographer here. It is very hard to get an apprenticeship here and that is the only way here to get the licenses he wants so he is going out of the country to a university in London to get the education he wants. ((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))
Batty. Thanks so much. You have cheered me up. :-)

That must be really hard for you and the kids to have him going away for such a long time. But I'm glad he's got the opportunity to pursue his dreams like that. I hope he gets to come back and visit more often than just at Christmas though. Your pictures are always really nice and I hope you keep blogging :-)

Kyle Thanks and it is so good to see you.Gummi will have break three times a year. He told me when. The breaks are differnt from ours but I hope he can come home at those times. It will also be necessary for him to get jobs during the summer break but will be difficult as the summer break there starts later than ours.

What is the cure for a loss of appetite? Recently, I cannot seem to eat much food, nor do I have the desire to eat. I am not sure why exactly, but I have experienced this in the past and have no idea how I got back to eating....
