Obama still seems to be digging his own grave.  Still trying to smear John McCain over the number of houses incident.  He seems to think that a Senator who served in Vietnam, has an impeccable resume, kids in Iraq, and is known for reaching across the aisle to compromise is out of touch with middle Americans.

However ridiculous this may sound, the fact that John McCain could not remember the number of houses he owns, based on the fact that him and if wife have houses in both their names and he was caught off guard, doesn't mean he is out of touch with everyday Americans.

What is funny in all of this is Obama and Biden are mixed up in questionable real estate dealings.  Obama with Tony Rezko and Biden with MBNA.  Do they really want to open this can of worms?  Or could the possibility be that they have nothing else?  Obama seems to have a lot of skeletons but where are McCain's?

The funniest part to me about "howmanyhousesgate" is the number of houses that Obama's celebutard drones must own. Does he take the rock stars and movie stars and all the  fabulous Hamptonites to task for their excessive real estate holdings? Probably never came up while they were coughing up the money that made him a record breaking dollar raiser. Who cares how many houses anyone owns? If that is one of his strongest arguments than he might want to ask Oprah if he can stay in one of her houses in Jan. 09 because he won't be sleeping in the White House.

McCain did not answer the question because he wanted the Obama camp to
make a big deal out of it, so his (McCain's) campaign could bring up Obama's
problems with Resco. Obama opened the door and McCain will walk through
and clean house. More bombs will drop. Of that you can be sure.

    Pete-Great observation

Alien-I never thought of that, that is a brilliant idea, especially after he picked Biden who has the MBNA thing.

SMB Obama cannot CONTROL what the man he brought his home from does in and with his personal life. The dude was a swindling crook. How is O suppose to know that? Do you think that he should have had the man investigated before purchasing the home? Perhaps I should as I'm currently starting to look for a home to purchase and am unsure if I'm entering the political arena and may one day wish to run for President as Sarah palin might be VP then I could certainly manage a billion dollar budget, take care of teens, and tell other world leaders how to run their countries(NOT!)
How many people actually investigate the people they purchase property from unless their Donald Trump and dealing with a Billion dollar deal potentially? Come on people be realistic.

McCain can't recall the houses b/c he has way to many. So sad you have so much money you can actually forget what you own. I'd like to be that rich.  Since Sarah Palin wants to make fun and say what does the vice Pres do anyway. Perhaps she doesn't get and really shouldn't be it. Sounds kinda far away from middle America to be so simple.

He cursed George now he is toting him as brillant and expanding on some of George's mistakes? What is that about? Obama doesn't need much. McCain is a nut job who shot his neighbors dog b/c it barked too much. This is a the man people want to be President
  • stopmediabias said on Sep 01, 2008....

HH-So lets see, Tony Rezko is guilty of mail fraud, wire fraud, soliciting bribes, money laundering, and political corruption.  Obama is a personal friend, neighbor, and bought his house from him.  Even after everyone he knew Rezko was dirty Obama still maintained a relationship with him.  Now it is important to undersand, just because people have friends doesn't mean they are anything like those friends.  It all boils down to judgement and character.  Obama showed poor judgement and character and he seems to make a habit of it.  Rezko, Wright, Ayers are all examples.

When someone is running for the most powerful position in the world even the appearance of improprieties have to be vetted.

McCain has earned the right to be President, tell me exactly what Obama has done to earn the Presidency?

The sad thing is that the mainstream liberal media never brings up any
of this stuff. It should scare everyone that the media will let anyone
slither their way to the presidency as long as they support abortion,
gay marriage, and all the perversion that the Democrats / liberals are
so eat up with these days. The power of sin is incredible. Looking at
the resumes of Oblahma and McCain should make this no contest, but
Borax's answer about abortion tells it all, as does McCain's. Oblahma
supports the sin of abortion and homosexuality so he is the darling of
ABC, CBS, NBC/CNBC/MSNBC, and CNN. It should scare us all what
those liberal-loving media giants will let pass as long as the litmus
test is met. Sin and perversion are weakening the Democrat party,
the party of JFK and FDR. Deep down, God-fearing Americans know
they are wrong. Even with the overwhelming help of the mainstream
media, it is still hard for the Democrats to win. I think the only reason
they win when they do is because there are still Democrats around
that believe the Democrat party to be what it once was instead of
the haven for weirdos it has become. Turn on any TV show (except
maybe FOX News) or watch any movie and tell me it does not have
a liberal / Democrat slant. Even so, even with all that constant
barrage of propaganda, truth prevails in the end. The media has
put Borax where he is, and, if he should slither through, the media
will bring him down. After all, we know where their real allegiance
    lies.

Interesting the other day I was watching that movie The Departed with Jack Nicholson.  The cops in this movie with Alec Baldwin as one of them are doing surveillance.  Alec Baldwin in a jolly way says "Patriot Act!" to one of his men.  When I saw that I wondered if Alec just threw that in and it wasn't part of the script because it makes no sense.  Patriot is a acronym Providing Appropriate Tools Required To Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism.

    Bah!
The political process is a sham.
It's been dead since Lyndon Johnson, at least.
This dog and pony show doesn't interest me in the least.
People are mistaken in their assumption that there is some animated contest between the parties. There is not.
  • stopmediabias said on Sep 03, 2008....
Grape-Now why would you feel that way?  With few excruciating things our political process is a good one.  This years is historic, first woman VP and first politician that is the most liberal and most in-experienced in history :> (that was from Fred Thompson)
  • GrapeKoolaid said on Sep 03, 2008....
smb:  I started to type out a response for you, but it became way too long.  So I posted on a separate blog instead.  It's here if you care to take a look.  :)

Thanks for the inspiration once again.  It's not the first time you got me to post something in conversation with your post.

I appreciate it for letting me get this out.  :)
  • GrapeKoolaid said on Sep 03, 2008....
Oh and btw, Fred Thompson's barely literate, not even qualified to read the teleprompter.  If anything, what you attribute to him should be attributed to some geek in a think tank, his speech writer.  But that's all the GOP needs, innit?  Some guy to play the role on TV.

Oh and here's your VP candidate's political experience.  Wasilla City Hall has a drive through, just like McDonalds.

Must be that time of month, eh. Do you have a picture of the Alaska
capital building? How about some pictures of ZerObama not casting
any votes on anything and not showing up half the time? Or maybe
some nice shots of him sleeping through Jerimiah's sermons? I wonder
if there are any pictures of ZerO with Bill Ayers, that loveable homegrown
terrorist. They say a picture is worth a million words.

I still don't get this, you guys keep opening these cans of worms and it just hurting you, keep going, it just makes McCain White House bid easier.
  • GrapeKoolaid said on Sep 04, 2008....
Both of you seem to think that I support Obama.

    You guys FAIL.

Apparently, neither of you read my post very carefully.  :(

I refuse to believe in the magical negro that's going to sprinkle fairy dust and make the country better.  Besides, Biden's paymasters are big Pharm.  Why would I want either of these clowns anywhere near the White House?

I happen to think that McCain is going to win the White House, but not because he has any merit, not because his platform is better, not because he's a better candidate or any of that sort.  Personally, I think he's a dangerous man that's going to get this country in some hairy situations, getting involved in zionist wars and getting American kids killed in the service of Israel.

I already talked about why he's going to win in my blog.  If you didn't read it, or just skimmed through it, don't ask me to repeat it for you.

I will leave you with this:  What person in their right mind would want the job?

You do know Israel are the good guys and protecting and supporting Israel is the right thing to do?
  • peteypete said on Sep 05, 2008....
Why are we so certain that Israel is the good guys? Are'nt they sometimes as petty and ruthless as the Palenstinians. I do understand from our point of view that they are an ally in a region that allies are hard to come by, but they are our achillies heel. Our soft spot for them is what has caused us generations of grief and polarizes all the contempt that a great deal of the world (not just the muslim world) has for us.
If we let everyone over there fight it out on their own terms and the winner takes all, could that be the answer to peace in the middle east? (that is a question not a statement)
If we let Israel fight for themselves would we still be seen as the interloping evil and infidels that extremists believe us to be?
Do we really think that it is just muslim extremists that think we let Israel take advantage of our good will and need for an ally?
Do we need an ally in a region that un-friendly if that ally is a primary reason for the hostilities in the region to begin with?
Other than saving face what is the benefit of this relationship to us?

If the jews are God's chosen people, and he went through the trouble of splitting the seas so that the Israelites could escape and live to prosper in the promised land than why would they need us? The first hint something was wrong with this
set up should have been that the "promised land",was a desert, a barren strip of dirt. This dirt is really worth the countless lives lost, the historical culture of mankind that has been detroyed, the money that has been lost? Why does Israel have more right to this land than the Palenstines? Because we said so? Because God said so? Well, we have stood up at our own risk for fifty years or so. Why don't we sit  for awhile and let Israel see for sure if God is really in their corner. After all, anything we can do he can do better. Besides, he will never feel the effects at the pump. You can't retaliate against God.
  • ALIENated said on Sep 05, 2008....

God will be the only one standing by Israel in the end. America will fall by the
wayside [probably due to a (zero)bama presidency, if that happens]. You can
already see it coming (your statement is a perfect example). Read all about it
in Revelations. It is not a simple book. You may need an interpreter. And, BTW,
the Jews were God's chosen people to be the family of Jesus. God respects
them as any husband would respect the mother of his child. The Jews
    themselves miss that point.

The Muslims who want to destroy Israel want to do it because they hate jews.  How many jews are in this county?  In my opinion the Israels haven't been petty and ruthless enough.  This is why this fight has gone on for so long, this notion of peace among people who have hated each other for centuries is silly.  Israel should have conquered the Palastinians and made it clear, leave, die or convert.  If the Palastinians wanted real peace they would have distanced themselves or join the world against the terrorists that keep the conflict going.
