Ok, so for the past year and a half, I have been making music, and writing music. Recently I hit a snag when my computer just collapsed under the extreme pressure..lol. But it has been a somewhat difficult process in finding myself. I love all walks of music, or I should say, I love almost all walks of music, and with that being said, it has been difficult to have one sound or style. I do listen to some hip hop and r&b along with techno.. so first I started trying to make urban beats, but i just wasn't happy with the outcome. The music just did not sound like me, but yet I was afraid to try something different, fearing that I might just loose the whole feel or what little I had of myself.
One day I decided to combine the two and give it a try. I made a typical hip hop beat and added some techno sounds in the background, that came out great, so since I was on a roll.. I continued to make 4 more beats combining r&b,hip hop, and techno. But my opinion would not be enough, so I asked my friend who sings if he would like to hear what I made, and to my surprise he loved it, then I posted them on my site and recieved great reviews. I still don't know whether or not I fit into a certain category or if any category at all, but I have found a true love and passion to go along with my other passions, like painting and sewing..lol.
