Ok, so I have been gone for about a year.. but lets just imagine its less then that, like maybe a week or so.

As far as this year, in February I took a trip to Orlando,Fl; which of course meant that I went to Islands of Adventure and Wet N Wild. Now, don't get me wrong, it was the best birthday present ever. But I did end up disappointing my friend, who loves roller coasters. We stayed at the Orlando Continental Plaza (don't let the name fool you), it is a good hotel for those who come to Orlando, only for the rides and sites, not luxury. However, it was located in a prime location, right off of international drive, next to a walgreens and KFC, along with Wet N Wild being right across the street.

We left Miami,Fl five o'clock in the morning from the Golden Glades Greyhound station. Dressed in our pre-summer wear, excited and ready for our road trip which basically leads us up the street, (Orlando is only 4 hours away from Miami)..but it is still a road trip! So as we got ourselves settled on the bus, thoughts of "I can't believe we are actually going, I can't believe we are actually going", invaded our minds, making us act and feel like little kids.

Now as far as the ride to Orlando, thats just a faint memory.. stopping at different stations, bushes, highways, more bushes, trees and farms, until finially we got to our destination. As soon as we stepped out of the bus, " boy, how we wished our pre-summer clothes had sleeves". Usually in Miami, we barely get cold weather and the past few years, I can't even remember feeling a slight chill. But just because Miami doesn't get cold, does not mean other parts of Florida doesn't either. An icy cold (not icy hot) air hit us and we felt like jumping back on that bus. Disney World who? Islands of Adventure what?

Well, we had a mission that needed to be completed, so we went ahead as planned. We got to the hotel in the afternoon, even though it took us awhile because an Orlando taxi driver did not know how to get to our hotel, even though he lives in Orlando, ( but I'll leave that one alone). We checked in, the room was great and we headed right back out, to explore and paint the town red.

Day 2, we got dressed, had breakfast, and headed out. The hotel arranges transportation to the different theme parks, however they forgot to pay extra so that the transportation could show up on time. Like those little kids on the greyhound bus, we could not wait any longer and hopped a cab. We arrived, took pictures, blah blah blah.. then the real fun/disappointment began. The first ride we went on was the Hulk, I was set and ready- just telling myself, "Its just a ride, you've done it before when you were younger, so whats the problem now". I began double checking my seat, and the straps making sure I was secure. Very very slowly we assended upwards, my heart began to beat extremely fast, "oh how I hate sur-", Zoom! And we were shot out of a tunnel and twirling upside down, going left to right, flipping and dropping. I'm holding on to my glasses, because I was so busy checking the straps that I forgot to take off my glasses, and screaming while others laugh. A 10 year girl, on the ride took it better then me. We or I should say, I got off the ride dizzy and scared. My friend on the other hand, was laughing and cheering,"wo whoo".

Sadly to say, that was the last ride I got on, for the entire trip. I just can't understand it, it's as if my body just shut down without my premission. Thinking to myself, I've been here before when I was younger so whats the problem now? Unfortunately for my friend, he had to go on the rest of the rides by himself... well atleast the rollercoasters. I did go on the Spiderman ride, Dr. Seuss, and some Red fish Blue fish ride, which you can tell by the name it was for kids.

I won't even mention, the rides I refused to get on at Wet N Wild. Basically, my plan to travel the globe and seek out all rollercoasters, has now come to an end. Over all, the trip was relaxing, fun and just another adventure to add to my book of memories.
