I love chicken nuggets. What's not to like about it? It's little bite-size pieces of chicken that is breaded, fried and eaten with little tasty sauces on the side.
I don't want to know anything about the conditions they are created under. Factory farms are sad and depressing, you know?
The truth is, chicken nuggets are like sausages of chicken parts. all the parts that are unused, or unwanted from a chicken gets ground up, reconstituted into little patty shapes, slap a little breading on them, and are fried. Essentially, the chicken nuggets you eat is basically the floor-sweepings of a chicken processing factory.
Even the "all-white meat" chicken nuggets are the same. They are made with breast meat, so they say. It's more likely that they are made from the leftovers of "boneless chicken breasts". Once they are de-boned, the meat in between the ribs and what not are shredded, ground up, reconstituted into little patty shapes, slap a little breading on them, and are fried.
Having said that, I'd eat anything that comes in these little patty shapes with breading and fried. If soylent green came in these little shapes, I'd probably think they were the best thing ever. Forget the chicken nuggets.
Just a little food for thought from your friendly neighborhood GKA.
Bon appetit. :)
Thanks for stopping in,
Grape.
