I fear poverty (as in "you're fired"). I fear kidney stones (I've had four). I fear pain, period. I fear being punctured with a needle. I fear heights. Once in an MRI machine I felt claustrophobic after 40 minutes of it. What are your fears? I guess if I was ever in an earthquake or a fire I'd fear those things, but ignorance is bliss.

I fear most not becoming the women I can be, I've seen and experienced so much that in my lovely 35 yrs I fear not much at all but lack of love for life and that life itself is full of love and learning  I fear becoming a cynic!

That's a pretty good list you've got going there Ifbno7 but one thing that would be close to the top of my list would be waking up to find out that Al Sharpton is the president of the United States.

SC ate my earlier response!  I can definitely identify with the claustrophobia, LFB.  Mine started after the first attempt to take down the WTC.  Walking down 52 flights of stairs in a crowded stairwell filled with smoke left a huge impression!

All in all, I think my greatest fear is losing the people closest to me.  My mom was very sick a couple of years ago, and it opened my eyes to have much people really mean to me.

    Great post! Wishy

Wishy, I was working just a few blocks from the WTC during that first attempt. I remember that my computer blinked off. Why the bomb would have done that, I don't know, but it happened at the exact moment the bomb went off. Right after that, they removed all the trash cans from the WTC lobby.

Cayenne, I was in the same restaurant as Sharpton once. A really nice Italian restaurant in the best part of Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights. Pretty expensive. We were taking my father in law out for his birthday there, and in walks Al Sharpton and his wife, last person I'd expect to see in a classy Italian restaurant. They just went right to the back, no fanfare or anything. I'll always remember him for his idiotic defense of some crazy girl who claimed that she was raped by a cop, and then turned out to be just another lunatic. That was the first I ever heard of Sharpton. Then his "day of rage" when he blocked traffic, and I thought if my car was the first in line I would have kept going right through his barricade, because you don't want to be stuck in traffic for hours on your way home from work.

Paper, you called me dear Lenny. Awwww. Dear you too.

Lucy get over here and fuck me, marriage or no, hurry up. Your husband can have my wife, no problem.
