This new in-car microwave, produced by a company in the U.K., can be easily used once it’s powered through your vehicle’s 12-volt cigarette lighter socket or through its car battery. With a price tag of $167, this nifty gadget is being touted to be smaller than your regular microwave, making it more portable for you to carry around. It also comes with an LED screen that can be operated on by using a touch screen interface (yes, just like the beloved iPhone). To keep it from breaking down into pieces while in your car, the in-car microwave is constructed using heavy-duty steel materials, enabling it to stay intact even if it gets to be treated in a roughshod manner.
So if you feel like going a slice of pizza or a hot cup of coffee, you don’t have to scour the area you’re currently in for a nearby restaurant or diner. All you have to do is just bring the in-car microwave, plug this baby into your cigarette lighter socket or your car battery, wait for a couple of minutes and you have yourself a good meal and a hot drink. Oh, and as a warning from its manufacturers, just make sure though that your vehicle is up and running before using this gadget. If you don’t, you’ll end up with a discharged battery. I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t want that to happen so be sure to follow this warning to a tee.
