Ah, Sweet Mystery!

Isn't it amusing that so many  bloggers here are wrapped up in who's who?
I try to go about my own business, editing where I'm told to, and thoroughly enjoying the insanity of it all!
To quote myself, it's a hoot with chocolate cake!
 
Just this weekend, I received a cute private message from Pickersplock.
It seems some people here, thought she was me!  How silly!
 
I've been receiving scads of private messages from people trying to guess my identity!
I've also been accused of being Zayda, Mamie, MissMimi, Twylarants, Silverwhisper, Polarheart, Destinydiva, Rupert7, Kruuyai and a whole bunch of others!  Too many to name them all, I assure you!
 
People seem to think that I am also Junioreditor!
 
I really don't know why everyone is so curious!
 
Junie and I spoke recently, and I can tell you this;  we are two separate people having the time of our lives!  So just sit back and enjoy the ride!

    Non, non, non!  There is only one La Paige, as there is only one La June! We are two people, two friends, two co-workers, two brilliant editors, and two drop-dead gorgeous ladies!
    We are not someone else. Elses. Someones elses. Other people, we are not other people, and we are not each other! We are us. We R' Us....isn't that cute?

    I am June, and I work at BB Lit Press UK.
    Paige works in Manhattan with all the others who write here.
    I'm in the city at least 4 days each month, and Paige comes to London 3 or 4 times a year.
    Ask Lucy Torial, she works with us. She'll tell you we are real people.
    You can't make this stuff up!

    Oh indeed you cannot make this stuff up! well it would be quite a noveletta though however, I am the illiterate one in the team so don't ask me to write a single item.  The office is amazing! ohh I love those lillies by the way Juni, who is the boy so besotted? ohh my it could be we have a little anonimous crush!

    Back to the point, Juni! really have you seen client lately? I'm sure he/she is sorting through my little bon fire from last week, no shred remains I remind you I do what I say I will as Paige would have my head off in no time if I didn't step up to the plate.

    Aren't the lilies loverly? They were delivered before I arrived this morning, sans note. I don't know which florist sent them so I can't call and wheedle a name out of them.
    However, I was strolling the esplanade yesterday afternoon, enjoying the sunshine, when the most beautiful blue eyes, in the most angelically beautiful, yet masculine, face, a la young Paul Newman/Mel Gibson, appeared in front of me.
    Darling, I am rarely at a loss for words, but....well, does the term "blithering idiot" paint a picture for you? And he was charmed!!  I envisioned myself as Meg Ryan in "Sleepless in Seattle", part innocent waif, part sexy temptress.
    It must have worked because the lilies are the same color as the scarf I was wearing, and he called me "Tiger Lily"!
    I think I'll have lunch on the esplanade today.

    Where's Client? It would be easier to find Waldo! A lost weekend, perhaps?
    Thank goodness you set fire to his latest tirade before the press saw it. How embarrassing!  Has the man never given anything a second thought?
    I don't think he knows how lucky he is that BB took him on after that other publisher gave him the royal boot.
    We'll just have to wait and see what he comes up with next.

    But fun, smart people are plentiful in Soulcast. That's why we decided to open an office here. 
    I was editing "Client's" rant du jour out of boredom, and found I had made it nearly readable. While the substance remained questionable, (and I am being uncharacteristically kind here) at least the grammar, spelling, word order, etc. were correct. Now the reader could see exactly how crazy this person is. I created a post, but it received little notice.
    Paige emailed me the next morning with a wonderful idea. I so love mail from across the pond. I don't care what they say about Americans, I think they're brilliant! 
     We decided to offer our services to the Soulcast community, gratis, of course. Yes darlings, we love you THAT much!  We work out of Paige's post to simplify the process for you, so you don't have to travel, poor things. We understand your time is precious.
    And if we let our inner bitches out for exercise now and then, well, do forgive us. Who among us would pass up the opportunity, given the chance?

    Now remember, there are always openings at BB Literary Press. We exist for one client, and one client only, but we have a wonderful time between assignments. Only fun loving people need apply.
    We don't conduct background checks, we don't ask to see proof of identity, we don't do drugs testing.
    Just bring your pseudonym, pick an office, put up pictures of the family, and wait for your basket of lovely coffees.
    Don't offer Lenore any coffee.
