Dyingman 72: The Week's Next Experiment

Awful.  Just Awful

This latest experiment was almost a total failure.

What would happen if I made a deliberate effort to exercise every day?
How would it compare with weeks where I did it when I got around to it.
Alas, the difference was tiny.

Sunday:
Make excuse that half the day is done by the time I finish the medical blog and it won't reflect the program well.n If any exercise was done, I didn't make note of it.

Monday:
7 Bench Presses 65 lbs.
65 strokes on exercise bike (high tension for strength training)
7 slow push ups. (works slow muscle fibers.)

Tuesday:
Climb 3 flights of stairs that I would have normally taken the elevator.

Wednesday
12 flights I wouldn't have taken otherwise.
23 minutes walking.

Thursday
6 flights

Friday
15 push ups
65 strokes on the bike
20 seconds on heavy bag

Saturday
65 strokes on the bike

Sunday
Nothing so far.

Total:
3 days on the bike
1 day of weights.
And an average of 3 flights of stairs per day
A little walking. Less than a minute on the heavy bag.

Just pathetic.

On the plus side, it sets the bar low enough I should be able to do better if I try this idea again.

Which I shall.
Wish me luck.
I'm goin' in....

i think writing down the little efforts has got to help in the long run-
keep it up for another few, and let's see, ok?

    That is, unfortunately teh plan.
I had hoped to have a successful week and rest on my laurels and let myself laze around like always.

My utter failure makes me demand a good week of myself before I slink back to my physical decrepitude.

Here's a preview:  Week two is not looking promising.
