So its been hectic, just a little, well actually, its been stupid!
Lets start this little disjointed post thus!
Okay initial meeting went well, you know what do you want what do I want then second meeting came the hand shake. Yep the handshake of change. He and his wife employed me, not just with a this is what you will be doing and thats it but in a handshake of total approval and welcoming into the family so to speak. Anywayyyyyyyy I am officially a cowgirl, err still gotta learn how to ride a horse but shit no one is perfect right off the bat are they? That almost changed this afternoon but BEFORE I go there I have to tell you about my day.
6:15 arrive at work, driver pulls up with guests on board at the depot (NO NO BIG NO NO) anyway says he was held up by said guests on bus?? WTF 7am (phones go on) phone call from above said resort managers saying how pissed she was at being woken up at the CORRECT pick up time for said guests who WERE waiting for bus at correct location! calm down girl, the day can only get better????
NOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooo 8:15 three flights blow out two drivers get diverted to other jobs (while all four phone lines are going with new bookings for the day, I am on my own) then two charters get cancelled AT THE TIME OF PICK UP! (fuckers) and a bus breaks down on the windy part of the coastal road (NO WHERE TO STOP) driver calls in to say it was a flat tyre but he SNAPPED the bolts!!!!!!! (at this point I am sweating, still on my own two drivers waiting for their run sheets in the office and the phones still going off) and one pick up of 14 guests and another flight to meet of 16 guests to organise in half an hour..... am I really freaking you out yet?
The driver that could cover the pick ups and flight arrivals decided to fucking tell me OVER THE RADIO that he was not going to do it..... (Pardon me????) ohh yessy indeedy fucking pie! (cunt) anyway so I had to off load (get another company do all of them at extra cost in limo's) fucker of a driver got my tongue I tell you what! I'd already told him to head straight to the airport right, he "copy that" got it, then changed his mind. So having heard me over the radio calming organising other drivers do HIS runs for him he radio'd in and said "Heading back to the airport" CUNT! so I radioed back "Not to worry *#^#$&#^*# I have so and so doing your runs and the extra run from the drivers WHOS BUS IS BROKE DOWN" didn't like that and he didn't radio in his position for the rest of my shift. (WHAT an asshole)
So all in all I'm over the stress, got it sorted didn't miss a single passenger, didn't get snotty with any guest or resort and moved on! stressful day huh? so where did I go straight after work in my GOD DAMN work clothes? (G Kelly skirt, shirt and high heals) to the RODEO! for a meeting. te he he he heee
They were jumping out some bulls just for the hell of it because they'd done they're work for the media for the day. I siddled in and sat down for about 10 minutes before anyone noticed or recognised me and it was THE antidote I needed, seriously I just relax. So I ended up my day being in the one place I want to be, where I feel relaxed, and me! so even in my work clothes everyone said hello, no one batted and eyelid, it was like being around family again! (Phew!)
So in the next couple of weeks I'm on a horse to learn, not that I haven't ridden before but I need to readjust my thinking if you know what I mean. G (owner, guy who is employing me) actually forgot I was wearing a skirt and said "I've got one saddled up for you" then realised I was in a skirt... te he hee I just bore it up and said "Unless you want to see more leg honey you ain't getting me on that horse" so all is well but very busy! I'm on again tomorrow morning then off for a couple of days but on again with the Rodeo stuff, I don't start there full time for another couple of weeks. (damn those lotto numbers not coming up!)
Anyway folks I am sorry for not getting to your posts and catching up properly I feel terribly out on the edge because of it but please I will catch up, stay safe, be happy be yourselves more importantly and make sure you remember I am still here just don't have enough time!
