Another passer-by and I rushed Jim to the clinic where they treated his wounds and stitched his arm up. Jim told us what happened was the alcohol got to him and he just started speeding on his motorcycle like crazy. He gunned the engine on a muddy dirt road. He was probably doing 80 when he hit a bank of soft earth that just couldn't keep a speeding motorcycle stable. He spun out of control and fell to his side with the motorcycle on top of him. A sharp piece of metal was what sliced his arm open. On top of all his cuts, bruises and 16 stitches, Jim had to pay for all the damages to the motorcycle. There's the obvious lesson to be learned here, but I'm just going to say that driving a motorcycle is not the same as driving a car!( HOWARD WILNER the tip of the day)

On June 26th they finally paid the trade in off, then sent us a notice that we owed $150.00 for the remainder balance. They told us that they would have it paid off in ten days, (if I am right that is 16 days) before we could pick up the plates. We called several different people there to speak with and never got anywhere, some would not return our calls others spoke ignorantly to where you want hang up on them.
I purchased a 2002 Chevy Cavalier with 6 miles on it. Now that my dear Watson is LOW MILEAGE!!! I had no problems at Courtesy Chevrolet, except for the fact that my other car is still on my record but they worked with me. They explained every minor detail and offered the Gap Insurance (which I took). Not to mention every other coverage that you can possibly think of!!! I know if you are short on cash and are limited to what you can spend, my advice would be to take a car with less "extras" and purchase extra coverage!!!

Adrenaline and fear are strong motivators in any situation. I don't remember the actual crash. I was laying in the grass in immense pain. My lungs were filled with smoke and I had some burns and more broken bones than I had when I first got onto the plane. I turned onto my stomach and sat up slowly. The plane wasn't far from me and the heat from the flames was hitting my face. The smell of aircraft fuel is disgusting. Smoke was billowing from the wreckage and I could see the wing was missing. The wing I would have been sitting at. I'm happy to be alive for my kids and wife. I've flown since, but not if I could help it.
There was this car that was driving very slowly down the highway. A State Trooper pulls it over. "What have I done wrong, officer?" the driver asks.
"You are going 26mph on a major highway. There is a law against that," the officer says to the driver. "You must go at least 50mph." "But when I turned on the highway, the sign said 26!" the driver replies. "HA HA HA!" The officer laughs out loud. "That is because this is Interstate 26! The 26 isn't the speed limit!" The driver leans back in her car seat and the cop sees another woman sitting beside her. She looked as pale as a ghost."What happened to her?" the officer asks."I don't know, but she has been that way ever since we got off of interstate 160."

That was the only time we realized that we were in trouble. The truck kept on picking up speed every second. Noel jumped out of the truck to try to stop it but it did not work. Andrew was thrown out of the truck as well as Billy. I held on tight, closed my eyes, and prayed. The truck eventually flipped over and over and after several turns I felt it stopped. I slowly opened my eyes and found out that we are hanging beside the deep cliff and the only thing that kept us from falling is a strong-looking tree. Ann and I were the only ones left inside the truck. Even though the accident was so terrifying, we were all fortunate to have survived that ordeal.( HOWARD WILNER general vehicles trouble)

After I came to and the fog finally was lifting I had a sort of clarity about the clarity and realization of what had happened. When we slammed into the Preacher's car my head was knocked into the windshield and I was knocked out. I had some severe cuts and scrapes all over my forehead and neck. My brother was in worse shape that I was. He wound up with a broken leg, shattered ankle bone, dislocation of three of his fingers and his other ankle, two broken fingers, three broken ribs and over one hundred stitches. br >
