Sorry to disappoint but this is definately not about golf.
Earlier this week the granite people called and said they would be prepared to install today (Friday). That works perfectly because I'll be away as of Sunday.
The hardwood flooring would have to be installed prior to the granite. The hardwood was chosen weeks ago it only needed to be delivered. Tuesday it arrived giving us Wednesday and Thursday to install. NOT........When we opened the hardwood Wednesday morning it was the wrong one! A brief phone call let us know that the error would be corrected but we would need to wait until the selected one is in stock again six or eight weeks from now.
Botty isnt at all pleased at that prospect. Off to the location of purchase to see if there is something even remotely close available and in stock. NOPE...........but there was one that I like. We were able to get it here by late Wednesday and of course no one could work on the install until Thursday. Glitches happened of course. The installer would have to do it Thursday evening but was willing to work late into the night. He was due at 7 pm. When I arrived home at 6:30 there was a message from the granite people. "We wont be able to install until Monday."
Now we have the weekend to do the flooring. The next situation is that I'll have to phone the granite people when they open and tell them it will have to be a week from Monday because I'll be away as of Sunday.
Here is what I chose. TIGERWOOD.

My original choice was Brazillian Cherry but I really like all the color changes in the Tigerwood so once again I'm not disappointed in the results of the glitches.
