A lot of people out there think search volume is the critical factor in determining how competitive is a keyword. this method is not very useful

and its results are not as exact as one would think.

 

we know that having keywords in titles tag and in anchor texts is an important factor for competing for rankings and SEO.  before you hire a SEO services or do it your self, a good idea would be to use the allintitle: and allinanchor: tags when looking for the keywords in google (example: allintitle:*keyword*,allinanchor:*keyword*).

 

If the same search term that has a large number of search results and alow number of sites with the key word in they're titles (for example) then simply launching a web site with the keyword in the title tag would be enough for instantly ranking for the keyword.
