I want to attract people from outside SoulCast.
How can I do that?
I'm interested in some tips.
I saw a post by mrhowto that had 9000+ views. He said that he made a link to his post on a friend's site. Do you know sites that allow you to make a link on them?
Is there anyone at SoulCast who was an website and would allow me to place a link of a blog entry that is related with his website topic?
It's very hard to make your blog show up on Google's or any search engine main pages. Your blog won't appear unless someone types your SoulCast username or something like that.
What other methods of adevertising do you suggest?

There are tons of way to advertise but I suppose it depends on exactly what you're wanting to achieve by driving these people to your blog... There are ||{1}||, which are a great way of advertising. It is a way of emailing millions of people without spamming. I have used this particular company with pleasing results, which is why I promote them. Hope this helps. -

do you have another blog outside soulcast? You can link this site to your other blog. Also, you can ask your friends who have blog to put your soulcast link in their websites. There are alot of free blog. The majority of my friends have Blogger and/or Friendster. -

One can of course just add in your own website in all of the blogs and comments that you post. Will this help? newsa @ http://dinamo.co.za. This will of course start to compromise your anonymity.

you can find these message boards and post your blog all over it.
Or by tricking people and putting something like " there is this great website that everyone is using to great success, its brblife.com. Its fantastic!
Then you can give a little introduction to the site in case the readers are not convinced they want to look at the link (but you can be honest here)
Say something like " Its an online magazine that is run by a swarm of zombies and is constantly updated with totally sweet products, news, and websites etc. A website for the brb generation, when you just want to tell your life brb"
Then remind them again what the blog link is - BRBLIFE.COM

You can try advertising on bigger and more known blogs. Normally if I see a link for someone on someone else's blog I normally click on it.There's a great blog called omigod.net, and you can place a text ad there for like $1.00 USD. -
