Original labels for our own shop or retail store are must for visibility and outdoor publicity. We have to look at costing from an individual store owner or small retail outlet. Needless to say, bargaining is an element and we have our budget in mind before going into pricing discussion for labeling.  Can we do something out of the box here?

Yes, simply think of a label printer. We need common sense to use label printers, where the data can be imported to the machine which prints the data in a self-adhesive paper and the printed paper can be used for labeling all kinds of products and packs.

How is a label printer different from other printers! The answer is "paper." The paper used is self adhesive and it can sustain large paper rolls.

The technology used is direct thermal printing with use of heat sensitive paper. These can last up to a year.  The labels are usually exposed to sunlight and fading is natural and hence the life is short.  So these kind of printing is used for short term applications and shipping operations.
