I heard of that virus just the other day, but it had a different effect on the user.  Oddly I saw it posted on CBSsportsline.com by some 15 year old kid that used his Grandmother's computer and he was so afraid of getting caught for looking other "places" he shouldn't have been.

The advice that helped him was only by doing a system restore.

I wish I could help you more!!  I'm sorry I can't, but that's what I read in the advice he got from a technical advisor...on a sports bulletin board.

Oookay, been there done that, it's a bitch.
Took me two days, then the @#$% thing kept popping up, but I think I finally got rid of everything.
first you should search your computer for any unusual files that have
    rhcevfj0end.exe
    pphcavfj0end.exe
    phc35dj0e1an.exe
    rhc74dj0e1an
or anything like that looks similar to those
I also had and something that looked like lxpxlxlxpx.
Just click start/search/click on my computer when you're asked what you want to search
    then delete those
you may have to end their processes before you delete them
just press Ctrl alt Delete on your keyboard
    then click on task manager
    select processes
    find the program
    then click end processes

    then go to
    Start
    Run
    type regit
    click OK
    HKEY_CURRENT USERS
    Software
    Microsoft
    Windows
    Current Version
    Policies
    System

Then on the right you should see something that says
    NoDisplay
    NoScreen
    right click
    modify
    change the value to 0

then you should be able to go to your control panel and click appearances and themes and get the tabs to change your background
I had to do this several times to get it to change permanantly.
The virus clears your tabs to change backgrounds.
    I hope that helped.

BTW, the %#@ virus also erases your previous system restore dates,
so you can't do a system restore.

this guy above me has it right if you have a real good antivirus itll take the virus out, if not itll rebopot itself over and over, or youll have ot go to regedit and take it out that way - best is let the antivirus tell u what it is exactly, take it down, search does not work so, regedit it in local machine and current user thennnnnn for the blue screne saver do what this guy did then go to Start Run type regit click OK HKEY_CURRENT USERS Software Microsoft Windows Current Version Policies System however just delete everything in there, no need to change it, delete all except default, then retsart your comp, and then anywhere on ur screen right click your mouse - propertises and you can decide what you wasnt as your desktop
