I was watching this program last night on  world link TV (Beyond Fear) on the invasion of Tibet by China through the experiences of two Tibetans-one male, and one female to say it was horrible does not begin to explain how bad it was, but all you hear on main stream TV is just a few seconds like it was like any other happening of no major consequence.  (You can watch it on line.)

The reason I feel the need to mention this horrible event is because of the lack of response from our government-a. yes we give lip service that it is happening, but our President still attends Olympics, and can be seen meeting with the people causing this atrocity b. we are one of the biggest supporters of this government by our economic agreements.

I wondered while watching this documentary if the reason our government is not doing more is because we have our own Tibet called Iraq, and we have our own government prison which operates above and outside the law called Quantanimo, and we have our own government agencies operating above and outside the law called CIA using rendition-The only difference between the two countries is that one operates above the law with the permission of it's populace guess which one?
