  Hi Gingersoul...I normally don't "click" on music videos as the "movies" don't run right thru and keep on halting so you get this really annoying stop-start-stop-start *slow motion*....kind of effect...but this one surprised me...why did I click it then?...I know I got you curious...lets just say ...living with nine cats...some of their little quirks seem to rub off on you after a while...
   
  ...what are their quirks? ...well curiosity for one...that one you just witnessed...lol then there is of course saying *hallo* where they stick their big tails and bums in your face when you're trying to reply to someones nice blog...I can guarantee you that I shy away from that particular trait...you'd think after years of living together they would know each other on sight?!...*giggle*
   
  ...but I digress...all I really wanted to say was thanks for the nice video...I know everyone sees different things/messages in storyline and images...and I'm no exception...this one was really poignant...for many reasons...thanks again...

  Alyss.....the singers are Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova (Markéta Irglová). They performed at the Oscar night with this song. Actually it happened that he talked too much and cut her out from the thanking speech after they won the Oscar for best song in a movie....so they called her back on stage to let her say her thanks and she was so sweet ....:-)..

  Willow....oh, i love cats...i do think we get attuned with our pets feelings.....as they get attuned to ours.......i too have had cats..... and dogs....and canaries and fishes....
  Right now only one dog....that keeps me busy for three though....lol..
